Alot of issues due to drug use. Beginning from the top all should get random testing or we're gonna have more safety concerns here. More fingers lost and more arguments from dodgy managers.

THE TIME IT TAKES FOR THESE PEOPLE TO UNLOAD IS UN ACCEPTABLE.
NO CARE GIVEN ABOUT DRIVER FATIGUE. They will make you wait hours while their workers stand around and talk. Management needs to wake up to themselves and UNLOAD interstate trucks before letting local trucks continuously jump the que, without us you will have no steel to LOAD. I am actively encouraging all INTERSTATE DRIVERS to boycott ANY load going to SURDEX STEEL. #BOYCOTTSURDEX

They seemed like a decent company to work for, until after I signed the full-time permanent position contract.
Only $27.97 an hour (afternoon shift is more)
I was to relocate from Melbourne to Warrnambool to start work on the Tuesday after Easter. I had resigned from my previous full-time permanent position on the Tuesday, a week prior, and on my last day, the day before I was to move 300kms for them;

I received an email from Ari requesting I start a week later and I declined as my contract stated I am to start on the 19th of April, and I already agreed to drive down to Warrnambool unpaid on the Wednesday before my start date to be given the walk through.

I received a call from Jessica (on behalf of the company) again requesting for me to start a week later, with no regard that I will have no income for an entire week. It was quite disrespectful.
I do not have any type of anger towards Jessica as she was a very kind on the phone to me and agreed it wasn't normal to treat anyone, including new staff like that.

I rejected the offer of employment as it had made my family and I very anxious how the company treat me once I actually started working for them.

I would be giving only 1 star, however Jessica actually spoke to me like a human-being rather than a machine.

Decent loading time and helpful staff. Signs could be a bit more visible.
