Sura Korean BBQ

Foods are delicious. Only 1 person is working to handle 7-10 tables during lunch time. I like the Pork Belly more than the Premium Wagyu.

I came to this place a few times and never had an issue, expect today. I came in and waited in line and was told that I had to wait 20 mins as there was no tables available which is understandable. I could see lot of tables needing clean and there were empty tables throughout the restaurant which I assumed were reserved. The next person behind me had made a comment to me about they might not get a table as well because they didn’t make a reservation, however that wasn’t the case instead the waiter allowed them to go in despite telling me that there was no tables available. When I inquired why the people behind me were let in even though they told me they had no reservations. The waiter denied and continue to say they had reservations. Pretty appalling and racist behaviour honestly. They were let in because they were Caucasian, not because they had reservations. If that’s the way you guys will run your business I hope it goes down. Really disgusting

Oven-baked rose rice cake with cheese

We loved everything we ordered, especially their Wagyu set. It has perfect marbling, so tender, and full of flavour. It pairs perfectly with the Watermelon soju.

Service by Yurim was the best! She was so nice to us and catered so well for our table. We love you Yurim!

Amazing food! Amazing service, I love how friendly the people are and my favorite is the Angus beef and pork belly. But not only that I also love the cold buckwheat noodle. You should try it it’s the best 10 out of 10!

@surakorean_bbq Hidden Korean BBQ spot inside @qvmelbourne is SURA, and they are the sister restaurant to @marukbbq in Box Hill so you know it’s legit! Everything was incredibly yum! Could not fault anything!

10 out of 10 I’m gonna come first time ever train Korean barbecue and it was amazing 10 out of 10. Recommend it will come back

Wonderful service provided by Han who went above and beyond to make sure our group had a good experience. The beef and pork sets was beautifully presented and food was brought out very quickly. Crab claws was a highlight. Lovely meal.

Very busy so glad I booked! Amazing spread of banchan and ssam fixings, the bbq was delicious, and KFC exceptional. Even though they were packed the service gang were great; no issue getting refills of kimchi and radish, changing the bbq grill, or wrangling the robot helpers!

Again, I'm glad I booked as this place had a decent line of walk-ins before 7pm on a weekday, the food is certainly worth it - word to the wise

Tried this place for the first time, definitely will be back! The food tasted great. Prices seem high on the menu but it is good portions size so definitely worth it.

Its an amazing place for Brunches or dinners. Really placid environment which makes doing-your-own-bbq fun. Will defiantly recommed it out for a try for all the Melbourne foodie groups out there.

Terrific korean bbq! We had wagu plate, seafood pancakes and soy garlic fried chicken. Was not sure if I liked Korean bbq until I went here. Loved all of it. Not one bad dish. Service was fast and friendly as well. We will return!

Worst customer service. Staffs should learn how to smile with customers and stop giving attitude when customers ask for something

Really bad experience highly recommend try others not this. They rush u to finish ur meal, and waiter and waitress has really bad attitude like u owe their millions dollars. The rice of bibiliban is so wet like congee, cold noodle really bad. Meat are really normal, some marined beef tooooo sweet

It is my first time here and we ordered a beef set which is really good. What make me feel surprised is the cocktail drink list. It named by different kpop idols like exo, bts, Aespa, etc. If you are the kpop fans, you must try it

I had really great time to eat dinner here! Waitresses were very nice and kind, and food was delicious.highly recommend it!

We ordered the Wagyu set, the Wagyu beef not bad but nothing surprises! I think the Wagyu is M8! Side dishes average!

Food is pretty good. Service is bad though - water was left out, and difficult to get waiter’s attention (probably under staffed).

Will I make effort to come again? No. Difficulty to get waiter attention, makes the experience a bit frustrating.

Will I recommend? Probably not.

Back here second time, disappointed.

On Tuesday night the 15th March. I have experienced the nightmare in the restaurant. A HAPPY MICE RUN A CROSS MY TABLE. We called the manager, he gave us 2 CAN OF SOFT DRINK with apology of course. Let me know if you still enjoying your meal? !
Im not sure what I should expect a Mickey BBQ for next visit or never come back again?
