Great food & service! It was super busy and the POS machines were down but the staff ensured the service offered was still top class despite the stress of the night. We ordered the fish tacos, steak tacos, birria and chips which was all super tasty. Staff gave us additional corn chips and a discount on a tote bag. Will definitely be returning to support this small business:)

Incredible, fresh tasty food. We have been meaning to try them for ages and I wish we had done it sooner. Perfect serves and delicious food. Can’t wait to go back again

Heya, ordered the cochinita here a few days ago and wasn't too happy with my order. Ordered for the family with some other snacks from the menu. But the food that came was greased with oil and cold. It seemed like some of the food was made earlier than others and left to wait and got cold, not sure. Perhaps, it was a busy day or it was just a once off occurrence. But from my experience the food wasn't the best for the price I paid and wouldn't recommend it to friends or family. Was extremely disappointed.

Amazing Mexican food, attentive staff and delicious cocktails. Loved the Encacahuatado + Fiery Paloma. Will definitely visit again to try other goodies on the menu. Highly Recommended!

So excited to have this gem so close by. Food is layered and complex- paying attention to intensity of flavour, texture and freshness. Margarita was delicious. Can not wait to eat in! Support this local so we can go enjoy their delicious wears in house. Yay Seddon and Superchido!

I've been wanting to try this place since moving to the west side. I was hesitant because of the cost, but since we were in lockdown, I figured why not? I also found it difficult to press the order button on totopos because $13 for a handful of chips and salsa is perhaps the most expensive I've ever paid. However, I enjoyed it, but I would have loved it if it had cost less than $10. This is just my personal opinion as I grew up in a Mexican neighborhood in Southern California. The calabaza tacos were okay, I couldn’t find myself to enjoy the seeds on the tacos, the pumpkin was also undercooked so was unable to bite through some pieces. I loved the shredded onion pieces on top though.
Overall, the food was nice, but I don't believe I'll order anytime soon when craving Mexican, or perhaps I'll have to get twice as much for my partner and me next time, which would bring my total to over $120, and my abuela would be furious that I paid so much for Australian Mexican food. My review is solely based on the portion size and the under cooked pumpkin. I still think if you’re happy paying top $$ for Mexican then definitely order from here. Just order more than you think would be enough.

Had dinner here just before lockdown, and it hit my taco craving right in the belly. Great little alfresco area in the back to have a chill dinner with your friends while being served great food & incredible cocktails. If you come here you MUST try the Horchata with rum & Fiery Paloma! They are unlike anything I had ever tried before.

I'm definitely looking forward to the end of our stay at home order so I can go back to try some of their other menu options.

As my first dining experience post-lockdown, I wanted to be a bit more forgiving of the poor service, however our experience at Superchido was incredibly disappointing. It took around 45minutes to receive our starters and drinks, and the rest of the food came out one by one in 10-15minute intervals afterwards. Having already waited so long for our food, it was very frustrating to see the table next to us, who had arrived half an hour after us, receive their food order before us - we had also ordered the same tacos almost an hour earlier and were still waiting. Another table nearby actually got up and left because their food was also taking so long. Upon paying the bill, one of our food items was entered twice and the waitress recalculated the bill to ensure it was correct, however after leaving the restaurant and recalculating it ourselves, we had still been overcharged by $19. We understand that the first week of opening post-lockdown may take some time to readjust, however the service was incredibly disorganised and unprofessional.

We've visited and ordered online Super Chido many times now and each time our food was served fresh and hot. Our wait wasn't long and staff have always been friendly and accomodating.

I've dined at superchido restaurant a few times recently. The food is delicious, especially the tacos, corn chips and mexican cola. The staff working are always friendly and welcoming. If you're in the mood for Mexican food, try out superchido.

As soon as lockdown ends, this would be a great place to spends a few hours eating delicious Mexican and drinking fantastic cocktails. For now, take away will have to do. Tacos a fresh and tasty, the menu is compact but very well done. Highly recommend, it is the mexican we have been waiting for in the area.

Great vibe and great food. My favourite is the Al Pastor. As a bonus, the cocktails are pretty sweet too.

Atmosphere was pleasant, interior super modern and customer service on point. The food was good, but the tacos weren't anything to remember.

Really amazing food. I was lucky to have gone before lockdown happened, but will 100% be back when lockdown is over. Not only is the food amazing, but the drinks are delicious and unique which goes hand in hand with the food. Customer service is top notch, shout out to the team at Superchido for providing the best service and Mexican food in Melbourne.

I visited before lockdown and have to say Superchido is serving great food, great service and great vibes. The stand out dishes were the grilled corn and the barramundi tacos. Food was served fresh and hot and we didn't have to wait long at all for everything to arrive.

The team were well knowledgeable with the menu and answered any questions that we had. Our hosts made sure we were well looked after.

Pre-ordered for agreed time. Arrived a couple minutes early.been standing outside in the cold for 30 minutes. They clearly haven't got themselves organised - prepare for the unprepared I suppose. Hope the food is OK.

Super flavorful Mexican dishes paired with friendly service; I’d recommend trying the Quesotaco and corn which seemed to be popular dishes there, and don’t forget to book ahead!
