Sunvale Community Park Playground reviews
18A good example of thoughtfully and creatively developed park for the community. Pity the community lack the ability to appreciate.
Great public park with excellent amenities including bike track, skate park and water play. Lots of shade and clean facilities
Beautifully-designed. Hi-5 to community groups which made this park happen after the Sunvale school closed
This park is really good if your a family, or even (not just younger people) just to use the skate park, BBQ's or water park (YEP, a water park, where WE control the water activity via a see-saw type water pump, so the more energy you have (or the more kids you can stack onto each end) the more water erupts from the ground and does it's beautiful dance (much like Crown Casino/Southgates water park). The BBQ's are pretty clean - when not, just let them heat up a little bit, then clean them, it's much much easier) & very well maintained by City of Brimbank. This park is actually a really gorgeous place to spend a few hours with the kids or friends. They even have built in 'resistance' gym equipment for those like me who can't afford a gym membership. It's really good, cos it uses your own weight as the resistance (& due to lockdown, as well as loss of mobility due to a broken foot last year) I have plenty of 'resistance' to work with. Seriously though, this park, for a local council park, now well worth your time. This park is also close enough to ALDI/Safeway to run & get anything you forgot for your bbq, depending what time your there obviously. I'm spewing that I've only just found this park, it would have been awesome months ago during the worst of the pandemic
(BTW, smaller kids can use their scooters or bikes in the skate park. Depending what time your there, the bigger kids using the skate area are pretty good & will look out for the smaller kids, even teach them a trick or 2, or help them with their technique, just depends on the dudes there at the time. Please note, none of what I've seen has been in a creepy way, but each parent needs to make that decision for themselves obviously. I'm just saying my own observations have shown the 'big boys' are tolerant of having smaller kids using it all at the same time - just my observation.)
The place was pretty good, I went there with my brothers. We played basketball and did some exercise.
I recommend you go and have a visit I'm sure you won't leave the place with a sad face. Go and enjoy with your family. God Bless
A good park with climbing frames, a slide, swings (including one for access needs children) and a water park. There is an exercise space, BBQs with extensive covered area, toilets and a skate park. A flower section, big trees and grassland.
Great park for kids and families. Nice little green area, heaps of play equipment! Half court basketball ring area and skate park. Great place for a family get together!
Really well cared for. The landscaping has been really well done. There could be a few smaller pieces of play equipment for the younger (1-3) kids.
Skate park, at least 3 playgrounds, basketball ring, exercise equipment, small oval with cricket pitch, barbecue area, 2 coin operated (I think) barbecues, toilets and plenty of shade. There's probably more I'm forgetting
This park is amazing, our Cub Scouts had a blast playing on the array of quality equipment and they even made some new friends. We will definitely be going there more in the future.
Big Thank you to Brimbank Council for an excellent addition to the Sunshine community. The area covers so many fun activities for families.
Pefect place for family catch up. BBQs, clean facilities, have to be quick for tables and seats. Lots to keep kids amused, water trees good fun and skate boarding too.
Well done council. Good balance for a large range of kids. About time they spend our money wisely!
Interesting park. Water park, fern garden, edible garden, cricket pitch, skate park, bbq area, public toilets. Has a bit of everything
Two clean (every time I've had to use them) and toilets (electronic door locks). The little water park is great for kids, especially young kids, in summer. The skate park is great for older kids too. Has a decent sized oval, but not full sized. Modern playground equipment. BBQ facilities. Plenty of shaded seating and a nice walking track. And rather close to the Sunshine Marketplace, only a 5-10 min short walk away.
Over all it's a great relatively new park, perfect for the family.
Best park in Melbourne. Dog friendly great free bbq, awesome playground for the kids and skate park
What a great park. Playground, water play, skate park, basketball hoop, bbqs, toilets, workout equipment and big open grass area. Everything you need. Amazing addition to Sunshine and the community.
Surprisingly this place is nice and clean. Nice clean bbq area, and the water park is just a lovely touch to the area
