Sunline Alterations reviews
13Had a bunch of my husband's work clothing altered here. Quick and great job! Very fair pricing as well.
Amazing experience, honest and provide a professional job. Price is reasonable as per professional clothes alterations
. I had use his service for more than 5 years and will continue doing it.
I highly recommend.
I have used this tailor a number of times for convenience as it is close to home but never again! I was charged $65 to repair two jackets but when I got home I realised my blue velvet jacket was not finished. I immediately took a photo to ensure I had a date and time stamp of the non-finished work and then called the tailor to advise that the job had not been finished. He said to me that's OK just bring it back and we will finish it.
When I returned he then tried to charge me another $20 for a job I had already paid for. He then tried to tell me that the work done was not his!
I reminded him of both jackets and then he said he remembered but refused to finish the job that I had already paid for. He went in and out of remembering the phone call and denying that he did work on my jacket (hard to forget as it is a distinct blue velvet jacket). I asked him to check with the lady that did the work if she remembered and he refused.
This tailor is a rip off, rude and does not value their customers. Go elsewhere as they lack customer service and the ability to be accountable for any mistakes or errors in their work. If I could give them less than one star I would.
I got my new jeans altered for $15 (to make them a bit shorter). I think it's a good price. It took him just 30 minutes. Cash only but this is understandable. Will come again next time.
Almost 50% more expensive than other similar services out there. Would be better to check other places if not pressed on time or location constraints.
Very expensive in the case of just replacing zip of the jacket. I had to pay $15 for the zip hook only not the whole new zipline. So its really unprofessional n money ripping business. Not recommended.
Service was quick, i received my alterations within a day.friendly staff and reasonable price.recommend this place.
Great tailor who has helped with all my alterations for the last 8 years. Reasonable pricing and a lovely man.
Today I was quoted $100 per skirt for 2x business skirts to be taken in (approx 2 dress sizes) and $60 per shirt for 3x shirts.
Not surprisingly their store is cash-only and has no price lists. The male in the store tried to take advantage by inventing ridiculously high prices thinking I was a dumb 18 year old with no idea of what things should actually cost. Nice try buddy.
These guys are really fast and a great price. Friendly service. Highly recommended. Used them several times now.
Been 3 times. Taken pants up twice and once to take up and in. $15 to take up $35 up and in. Quick turn around. Nothing wrong with this place.
Absolute rip off! Wanted to charge me $60 to sew 3 patches on. 60 freaking bucks! Went to Werribee and got it done for $25! Do not go to this rip off
UPDATE took job to Ross Sew alterations in Werribee charged me $20!
Relatively expensive tailor services available; not sure whether this has something to do with the stores rent but I'd look elsewhere if I had the time!
