Sun Cinema Bairnsdale reviews
30One of the best local independent cinemas you'll find. Fantastic large leather seats (there's even love couches for couples), the best house made choc tops around with great service. Have been to a few films here and they do a pretty good preshow with short films about the local area and more.
Pre purchased tickets for my son and I who was excited to see his 1st 3D movie. Did 40 minutes to get there only to be told you had run out of glasses. I fail to understand how this happens!? Surely you know how many glasses you have and sell them accordingly? What's the point of pre ordering tickets to get there and have no glasses because you've sold them to people who have walked in off the street.
Poor service! I was refunded the ticket money, and given complimentary tickets that can't be used for 3D movie anyway!
A very nice cinema with great movies. The staff are very friendly and the seating is comfortable. There. Are even seating for two when you go with someone special.
Comfortable seats and clean, their ice creams are incredibly delicious! The personnel is very friendly. It's a great little cinema! Fully recommended. Don't forget to order an ice cream!
Super comfy leather chairs with big arm rests. Great movies chosen well. Lovely staff and clean loos.
Really nice atmosphere, great seats and lovely staff. Only down side was the popcorn and other things that were shoved down the sides of the seats from previous sessions
The service is great and the seats are very comfy.
I liked the sound but my husband thought it could have been better
Love coming to Bairnsdale just to come to this cinema. Wish they had one like this where I live in Melbourne. Comfy lounge chairs, fabulous choc tops. Excellent all round cinema experience. Thank you ️
Great seats.awesome movie.pity the lady behind the counter re coffee was very rude.would have waited.
Very comfortable plush seating with plenty of legroom and armrest space inside the theatre rooms. Large sized choctops, popcorn and drinks are available at the front counter where you also pay/collect your tickets. The admission prices are also very reasonable, around $13-16 each. I went to see Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore and really enjoyed it! ️️️
One place to go to if you what to see the latest movies. Buy a ice-cream - chock top as you get your tickets. Can recommend anyone on offer.
Great cinema, with the comfiest seats. Staff are super helpful with our picky seating preferences and make a bloody good cuppa!
While this is a small cinema with only 2 movies being able to be played at the same time, it has comfortable seating with spacious seats.
It does not get cleaned between movies which l find off putting in these times of covid.
Popcorn on the floor and seats so take your Glenn 20 or wipes.
Otherwise it's a great place to watch the latest movies. ENJOY.
A truely amazing local experience. A small cinema that has really been shown some love over the past 5 odd years. Extremely comfortable seating, clear screens and theatres that aren't too densely packed.
There is a definite need to highlight the choctops made on-site by the friendly staff. During COVID they went above and beyond to adapt, handcrafting custom choctops with filings to order.
Once again, amazing place with friendly and amazing staff. A must stop destination while in town.
Great place to see a film. Comfy lounge-style arm chairs & couches for two. Good selection of cinema snacks. Good idea to become a member if you like to go regularly.
Refurbished with bigger more comfortable seats, don't forget to try one of their choc top icecreams.
A very nice cinema with great movies. The staff are very friendly and the seating is comfortable. There. Are even seating for two when you go with someone.
Loved this cinema from the get-go. I love small, almost family owned theatres in the middle of the country, it feels so intimate and cosy. The staff on hand were lovely and more than keen for a chat.
The movie was absolute faff but that isn't their fault, it's the filmmakers responsible for The Personal History of David Copperfield.
Great cinema with very friendly service and the latest movies.
Nice seats, which are wider and very comfortable, to accommodate the "wider" person.
