Sumalee

The food here is the most high quality and delicious Thai food I’ve ever had. It feels like fine dining at an affordable price, which is all you could ask for. Renee is a god send, so friendly and always tending to your every needs. I could not recommend sumalee enough! I’ve been here at least 6 times and will never tire of it

Loved the food, freshly cooked and fast service. Definitely coming back to try other items. Staff was very sweet and accommodating as well.

Totally delicious Thai food. Very authentic and some really interesting dishes. Had an evening there with my husband and baby tonight and the staff were incredible, very friendly and attentive. They even took our baby for a little look around the restaurant so we could have 5 minutes to eat in peace. We will be back and recommend to anyone wanting delicious Thai food and great service.

Sat dinner here authentic Thai cuisine, beef red curry very tender and tasty, pad Thai bit sour taste coconut if served in small bowls would be nicer all over good experience would come back for sure

Last minute Friday night dinner was excellent - our group enjoyed our tasty & fresh selections - beautiful green curry chicken, pork belly, mixed entrees, calamari, etc.we were so hungry, food came out quick, thank you to the chef for sticking around for us.

From when you arrive, Renee the face of Sumalee. Makes you feel at home & like a brilliant home cooked meal, you would swear you were eating in Thailand premier restaurant. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We’re a regular for a reason!

Outstanding food, with superior Thai spices and flavours to a lot of "westernised" Thai places if that is your preference.
Presentation is top notch, super friendly staff, intimate atmosphere.

Nice fusion Thai food at reasonable price. We did not book ahead but was able to dine at the few outside tables. Casual and relaxing. Food was nicely presented. Didn't get the chance to try the wine though.next time.

Great Thai food in Bentleigh. We ordered 3 dishes (tom yum, som tum, fried fish). They're all quite good. However, the steamed rice was just OK. Otherwise, it'd have been rated 5 stars

How does a place as busy as this run out of noodles at 5: 30pm on a busy friday night when they just opened.

It was delicious we got the lamb Massaman curry and cashew chicken! Both were delicious and the service and environment were very welcoming! I only got to take one photo because it looked too delicious to wait!

Lovely meal I had the spring rolls and prawn special for entree then green curry with veggies and tofu and satay tofu for main and every dish was delish. Bit yo mention the service. Renee and get staff are fabulous. This is our favourite local for weeknight dining. Must book in advance as they book out early.

Sumalee is one of our favourite restaurants, great food, service and an excellent atmosphere. Renee is terrific host!

Overall a great experience. The dishes were tasty and the service was fast and good. The only small issue was that the portions were quite small for the price, but the economy is not perfect, so understandable.
