I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a few suits for my wedding and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The quality of the suits was exceptional and Alexander went above and beyond to ensure that all of our suits were tailored to perfection and received within a short turn around timeframe. I would happily recommend Suitably to anyone that needs quality tailored suits.

My partner and I went here to get his suit for our wedding and it was the best experience we could have asked for. Alexander is incredibly talented. Purchased 1 x groom suit and 4 x groomsman suits from Suitably.
Firstly, Alexander was fantastic. He was knowledgable, friendly and great to deal with. It was clear he was passionate about helping me completing my vision for the suits.
The process of getting the suits made was easy, and regular updates were sent.
Upon receiving the suits, the quality was incredible and they felt great on.

Be wary - initially a very pleasant customer service experience. Alex was polite and helpful at selecting fabrics and providing styling tips. However, our experience at Suitably was not ideal thereafter - marred by lacklustre communication, faulty measurements and patronizing comments to my now wife. It was pretty clear Suitably had taken on too many clients than they could handle. One of my groomsmen’s wrist measurements were so far off he could barely get in the suit (4 days prior to the wedding). After insufficient attempts to get it altered by Suitably we had to take it elsewhere to get fixed (granted - a refund was provided for this suit, my brother is pretty disappointed as he will likely never wear it again).
Overall, a pretty average and stressful experience.

EDIT:

To provide more context as some details were missing in Alex’s response, the reason for the short turn around on our suit order is my father is terminally unwell. This was made plain to Alex from the get go. However, this is separate from the fact that there was poor communication from Suitably and a suit that did not fit one of the groomsmen on our wedding day…

An invoice was requested from Alex on 6 February (3 months the prior to the wedding) and it took him until February 22 to provide one - at which point we gave him an option to back out of the order if he didn’t feel he could do it in time. This was declined and we were assured everything would be all good.

Ultimately, 4 out of 5 suits were good. I understand the tailoring business can be challenging, like many professions, but the review merely reflects our experience - a botched suit, poor communication and added stress at a difficult time.

We sincerely hope that Alex gets better soon, and good luck in managing clients in future.

Alexander and the team at Suitably did an incredible job making my custom wedding suit on a reasonably short timeframe. They were the most affordable option I could find for a fully custom made suit, with expert, friendly service and very good quality of suit for the price. They also twice had to make alterations as my pre-wedding weight loss went a little too well, but this was done very speedily and of course with no extra charge.

I work in the same office as Alex and have seen the suits for a long time and have seen how busy they are. But when engaging them for my 17 year old sons for his first school formal they had all the time in the world for us. The process was smooth and structured and the product was wonderful. It's a proud moment for any dad seeing his first son getting his first bespoke suit and it was handled beautifully and the end result was excellent. I will post photos of the final product in a few weeks! Highly recommended for value for money and a suit that will look good and last.

Alexander & Andy were fantastic - we ended up getting all our groomsmen outfits, dads suits, and of course the groom’s done by Suitably. The guys were super easy to deal with and we couldn’t have asked for an easier process. 100% recommend. Our wedding was SO GOOD! I bought the "Bond" suit with a shirt from Suitably and I spent around $938. Alex was the one that saw the fitting of my suit all the way through and it was an amazing experience. Alex was able to guide me through the process, gave easy to understand answers to all my questions, made the whole process easy, and made me comfortable the whole way through. I was able to give him a vision of what I had in mind, despite no experience in tailored suits, and he was helped translate it into something real and helped out where I was little lost.

The turnaround for the suit and fitting was relatively quick, less than two months from first fitting and further adjustments. Although this may vary depending on the time of the year.

Overall, excellent service and product. I looked and felt great.

- Booking for a fitting was easy, with plenty of times available
- Alexander was immensely helpful in going through suit options, taking into account the bride's dress, the colour scheme of the wedding, and both of our stylistic preferences
- They weren't pushy and it always felt like they just wanted us to have the best outcome possible, even if it meant not going with them
- The final product was fantastic, and meticulously detailed. I purchased the package of a suit, pants and two shirts (plus bow tie and cufflinks) and they also helped with sourcing remaining items like suspenders and shoes by recommending where to find them.
Will definitely be back for any future suits and alterations. These guys deserve to do well and you should give them a shot!

Andy and Alexander are amazing! They are super friendly and approachable but also absolute professionals and undeniably masters of their craft. Had my wedding suit tailored by them and it turned out really well. Suit was high quality, looked great and fit perfectly. They provided expert advice and styling tips to make sure my wedding outfit looked the part. Have never had tailoring experience this pleasant and honestly can never go to any other tailor again.
