Subway Restaurant reviews
35I arrived at 5: 30 p.m. On 01/07/2024 there was a woman and a man in the service. The extremely thick and badly educated woman. He answered me unwillingly and rushed me at the time of choosing the ingredients when it was empty. One of the worst visits so far in Australia.
I ordered online and requested three different cookies but that combination was not an option so I chose the 3pc choc chip and requested they pack me one chocolate chip and two different cookies (no price difference) but I didn't get it. Next I got the wrong bread and ingredients I didn't want on my sandwich. Really sad.
I been at this store at 3: 30am and ordered for foot long but the guy at this store refused to make my order by saying that he is on break and I threatened him to do the complaint to the owner then this guy made a subway for me and the worst thing is that he always do the same thing with all.
I’ve been here a few times late night. They claim to be 24 hr and close at random. I don’t like the business. Be for the people. Saying we are closed oh oh I’m tired is not helping anyone. If you have to re stock or need more staff at 3 am then figure that out. That is not our problem. Shame on you
One of the best Subway's I've been to in Australia. Everything is clean and proper. Good friendly customer service. The staff are happy to have a good conversation while they make your sub perfect for you. If you want extra pickles or whatever they will look after you. I recommend this place to all Melbourne folks if you want an amazing sub.
Both the sides of the wrap were just tortilla, No stuffing. I asked for a carry bag and instead the owner (assuming as he was wearing casual and not the uniform and there were four other ladies in the uniform and two customers) was giving advice to carry it in hand. And he was laughing (making fun of his customer). This is the first and the last time in this subway store. I wish that I had read the reviews before going.
Very disappointed with the quality, Italian bread was not baked well, got a vege patty sub and the patty was stale. The ambience not up to the mark, absence of customer service, it like they doing a favour by making a sub. I am sure not to visit this place again,
Miserable Monday, maybe not but definitely miserable hump day. All I wanted was to walk in and smile like Jared when he picked up his subs on tv, but unfortunately it turned into a emotion like when stuck by investigation.
Gabby really needs to entertain herself and find a joyous hobby. Always Miserable, poor, low energy attitude every time I attend to the shop. Definitely not someone who should be in customer service industry.
Worst subway experience ever!
I ordered for a salad and when i asked to put in the sauce she told that we can put a maximum of 3 sauces!
I haven’t heard such thing!
The salad was very dry!
Really bad experience!
During making the sub a girl without mask keep talking to the other staff.
It's so disgusting and she made awful sandwich.
Never go again.
Terrible absolutely terrible! Called to see the menu for their best seller, said i have nothing better to do in life! Saying i pranked called them, even tho.it wasnt me!
Probably one of the best Subway in the Melbourne CBD. Value for money. They give attention to small-small details and always deliver good quality. Every time whenever you visit them, they always exceeded the expectations.
Never go to this place, customer service is the terrible, they always have an excuse not to attend you.
Almost every staff is nice except one Asian girl who works in Monday morning, rolling eyes and speaking sharply to a customer during I'm choosing my food is unacceptable, if u not happy to work just quit your job and stay home.
Good customer service but didn't change gloves between meat and veggie subs while making and accidentally touched meat with veggie sub. It doesn't matter to few people but I wouldn't prefer touching meat.
I used to favour subway a decade or so ago, but I feel it’s restaurants like these that have put me off the brand in recent years. It’s not necessarily that this is an issue with food quality or anything like that, but there seems to be little care in regards to the finer details & customer experience.
You might find yourself that little frustrated watching your sandwich being made if you’re somewhat familiar with the process. Again, I used to really like subway, but when I see amateur bread carving & topping placement, I can’t shake the feeling that I want to jump behind the counter and do it myself, or just make a sandwich at home.
Got sick from eating here twice, the only reason this isn’t one star is because I actively chose to eat here again
Chick didn't listen to me at all, im allergic to dairy nd gluten had to remind her 8 times for ONE df, gf wrap, first she tried to make me two wraps, then tried to make one cheese wrap one gf. Corrected herstill ended up with a tuna wrap made with a wheat wrap. Was over charged as well had to bin it after one bite as wrap still wasn't gf. Fml never again
I used to work nearby, so I often went here to have lunch. After I moved to Sydney, I sometimes miss the taste, but other branches can't keep up with the taste even though I always order the exactly same. Here was the best Subway ever. And the boss was friendly. I'll go and eat again when I get to Melbourne.
Visited Melbourne last October and we stayed at an AIRBNB across the road. Got subway the first night and we were both extremely disappointed! One giant sloppy mess. Hardly any salads and way too much dressing. The two girls had no people skills, they weren’t rude, we’re just cold. They rushed our order even though there was nobody waiting. Huge disappointed, after a long day of flying, catching buses, walking all over Melbourne to find the apartment, this wasn’t particularly a nice experience.
HUGE difference from our local subway in suburban Adelaide!
