Subway Restaurant

I had never been here before but I was in town for work, I wasn't expecting anything special but this is honestly the best Subway I have ever been to. Plenty of staff during lunch and the food was fantastic!
I was in and out in 5 minutes and thoroughly satisfied

I was served last Friday by Bella, it was the best subway experience I’ve ever had. She was so nice and welcoming, and took the most care I’ve ever seen someone when making a sub. She really made my day.

Drove all the way from Romsey, got there at 9: 08 and was told they are shut. Signage out the front said open till 9: 30pm same as online.

My order was $13.10. I gave her $15 at first but then said I have the right money (coins) the asian lady on the register gave me change for the $15 and wouldnt change it when I gave her the right money. " no no no register already closed!

My two sons, (aged 12&15) came back from their visit to Subway Gisborne, so happy with the customer service they’re received from a young lad today. I never write these reviews, but well done and thank you to this impressive individual!

A new feel inside and friendly staff. Food was made to order as it should (other subways skip out on your request quantities). Felt welcome whilst there. Easy parking.

Subway. They make sandwiches while you watch.
They make lots of them so they are really good at it. What more do you want?
Oh yeah, cookies, they have those too. Subway must be the dark side then.

This has quickly become my new favourite Subway, very nice and well trained staff, reasonable prices and fresh ingredients that never look like they have been sitting for too long.

Open late and in such a beautiful area with good parking and seating. Really happy with the service so far and I will definitely be returning here more often!

I get annoyed when the chicken snitzel isn't heated up properly and is stone cold. Happens too often.

Went in at 2: 40pm on the 15th of Jan 2021, there was a guy and a woman working, I was served by the man and I can't not commend him enough. By far the best customer service I have ever received, I would have payed double what I payed just to have this guy serve me again, energetic, polite a great people person. I wish I would have caught his name because he was amazing. If the owner of the Gisborne Subway reads this, GIVE THE DUDE A RAISE, or something, anything! He deserves it. Oh yeah, foods good too.

Aside from the fact the subs weren't wrapped too well, they were nicely made, fresh and lovely, I have chicken teriyaki and it was very nice, ps when I say more mayo I mean like half the tub hehe

The service I received at subway a few days ago was disgraceful. I was served by a lady named Grace and she was very rude to her employees. I suggest they begin to work on their respect towards their customer service workers before i attend this subway again. Would not recommend. Chicken was cold and cheese was not melted.

Gisborne subway was fantastic. A worker named zoe was very polite and made the neatest sandwich I have ever seen. I hope I see her there next time!

Hands down the worse and most frustrating Subway experience l have encountered in all of Aus.yes Aus! I read a few of the reviews from months ago and even up to 2 yrs ago.please people go and visit and review again! The staff are so SLOW when building the Subs and if that is not bad enough its as though they are paid on a "Less is More" incentive program. The less ingredients they put on the Sub the more they get paid. Seriously frustrating after last 4-5 visits and wanting to give them a chance and support local business but every time to have to constantly ask to add more than a leaf of spinach / 1 slice of onion/ more than a teaspoon of avocado.it goes on. They are so stingy with the ingredients. I am sure the kids working their are trained to only supply bare minimum ingredients. They are friendly for sure but the owner needs to step up. On more than one occasion l have heard locals with the same frustrations.

Great team to work with and stellar joint - now the only place I'm willing to patronise for a sub! I know for a fact management kills themselves to maintain the highest quality store they can. Keep it up.

I was extremely disappointed with the service I received when I ordered my sandwich. I was served by a very rude lady (I think her name was Grace) who barely put any teriyaki chicken on my subway and wasn’t very sanitary with the meats or vegetables. The only nice employees i’ve encountered from Gisborne subway have been a lovely girl with orange hair and a very nice boy with short brown hair. Would not recommend.
