Subway

My daughters wanted a simple sandwich. No more than two or three ingredients. The person serving just assumed what they wanted and made whatever they wanted without even asking them what they wanted. When i questioned them about the orders the people who run the place were aggressive and yelled at me and my daughters. Terrible experience. Will never return to this subway.

My son way playing cricket in forest hill yesterday and asked for Subway for lunch. I noticed when I got there, that the sandwich shop next door had a long queue. I was curious as to why. I ordered my sons usual favourite from Subway. The filling was so scarce, I asked the person to top up the filling (after all, we are paying $15 for thus!), she reluctantly put on an excruciatingly small amount of grated carrot. I took the subway to my son, and, unsurprisingly, after eating it he was still hungry.

My tip is to give Forest Hill Subway a miss all together. Go to the sandwich shop next door. Much better value for money!

I had a very skinny 6inch sub. I don’t usually have big appetite so a 6inch sub is good for me to eat them 2 separate time from other outlets.

They are exxxxxtremely stingy with their salad filling.

I had Forest Hill 6inch subway, and by the end of my meal, I had to get another bun from bread top to finish off.

I ordered a footlong meatballs Italian herbs bread and was not pleased with the service, because there was limited salad and was not good quality overall.

RUDE SERVICE. RIPS YOU OFF WITH INGREDIENTS. WHEN ASKED TO PUT MORE THE LADY GIVES YOU ATTITUDE. DO NOT EAT THERE.

This got rejected from Indeed but yeah, a warning. Don't work there. In case any future employees are reading this.

I interviewed and was told my application was successful. In the interview prior, I'd been told if my application was successful I'd be a 'trainee' meaning I'd be at a lower wage while I built up my skills. I was also told I'd be sent an online training module, which never happened.

After receiving this news, I had two shifts arranged. I completed the first shift, 2 hours of washing dishes. No problem, except for one small thing. I wasn't paid. Despite being a 'trainee' who should've had the aforementioned wage, and having handed over all my bank details, I received nothing. My second shift was two days later but it was cancelled with very short notice (6pm the night before my shift around 4pm, if I recall right) for no provided reason. At this point, the manager also explain I was still on trial, and may not get the job.

Honest to goodness I don't believe 'trainee' and 'trial' can be conflated. Even over English language barriers, those two words are different things. And from my experience, even trial employees generally are paid. After the second shift was cancelled and he revealed he was still deciding which trainee he would pick for the position, he went radio silent. It has been 3 months and still no word from him. Obviously, I didn't get the role. But still, unprofessional.

I also found it odd that Subways (not just this one) seem to not use the official employee portal to find candidates and instead use Jora Local, then text your phone number they get off that site. It all seems sketchy.

In summary, I showed up, washed a guys dishes for two hours and never received pay or the position despite being told I would be in the interview. Steer clear, there are better places to work.

It just tastes like normal Subway.
However, this place rips you off. The bread in comparison to every other subway is noticeably smaller, and they give you as little salad as possible. Try another Subway, you will notice the difference in bread size especially. It's not enough to fill you even though it's the same price!

Fairly speedy service. Sub well put together. Staff could be a little friendlier, but that aside overall very happy.

The worst customer service everrrr! The wife hates her job also not generous with servings of salad.will never be back

Terrible rude lady on the counter there (probably the manager or the co-owner of what I could see) very unprofessional, doesn’t know how to greet customers and would put subs together in a rush. Doesn’t let the customer even speak. Lies on the face about sauces not being available (and they were clearly kept on the back counter). Plus the quality of the subs is horrible too. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
