I've visited the place twice and encountered the same issue both times. The staff should be more aware of the importance of changing gloves between handling vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. On my first visit, I ordered a vegetarian footlong, and the staff member used the same gloves for non-vegetarian items and was about to do the same for my order until I requested a change. The same situation occurred during my second visit with different staff. It's crucial to train your staff on proper food handling and hygiene practices to address this significant lapse.

Only go there if you like listening to Punjab top 40 at full volume and you’re not too worried about getting minimal salad on your Foot long.

Ok, today me and my friend had a terrible customer at this joint from staff called Simar. I don’t know what happened to customer service at this place? Very rude behaviour, doesn’t even smile. I would have let it go if the food was ok, but NO my bread was torn torn and poor wrapping too. Like what the hell is wrong with the staff? Not going here anymore

Was an alright Subway. However, I do agree with previous reviews about customer service… we were not greeted nor were we given one smile or kind look throughout the whole ordering process.

The food however was great, only downfall was that they didn’t have pickles or choc chip cookies.

The food is like any subway of course, but the service at this store is atrocious. The staff are generally non welcoming and very blunt. Its my local subway so often hard to avoid but everytime I go I walk in with a big smile hoping its reciprocated and it never is.

Zero customer service charged me extra 4 just to have eggs instead of meat or chicken filling was minimum won’t go there again

If I could give this 0 starts I would I went into this subway at 6pm on the 5th of August and the lady didn’t follow the correct procedures by heating up the chicken before putting it on the subway the lady was quite rude when we then asked for the chicken to be heated. Then we ordered avocado and she put the tiniest bit of avocado on the sub barely spread it over the whole portion of bread. Then put little to no salads on so we asked for more so it would actually fully cover the bread! Worst subway ever should have aussies working who understand Aussie people.

If they are not paid well, they should br paid.
If not taught well, they should be taught, atleast to smile.

I do not want to come for food if they can't bear a person ordering from them, they don't have any smile or not much empowered or willing to work, but no options left with healthy options, so have to come.

Came into store and could see only 1 Staff member and 5 People waiting to be served. The Staff Member asked for help from the 2 People at the back which they Did Not come out to help, I heard them Talking and Giggling while the Young Member was trying her best to Serve everyone.
While I was there I seen 2 people come in wait and leave the store without food.
This would have been a 1 Star if it wasn't for the Hard working young girl on her own.

Good for a quick bite. On the way and easy to drop into. Found it odd they said they close at 8: 30pm Sunday but their website and signage says 9pm.

I go here once a week for a Roast Beef footlong, the store is nice and cool in summer and the staff are all really nice. For $11.50 for a footlong with roast beef and a generous amount of filling/salad you can't go wrong. Staff are always pleasant, efficient and never no problem. Keep up the good work.

Well I’ll start my review off by saying that before visiting Subway North Geelong, I had not once in my life ever thought I could be disappointed by the franchise.

The only redeeming factor here was the presence of the Subway brand.

The first thing I noticed when approaching the store was that there were no Vic. Health QR sign-in codes on the doors or windows. I thought “that’s odd, oh well” and walked inside only to have the door slam hard behind me with an ear-shattering smash. One would be forgiven for thinking that being situated right next to Bunnings, the franchise owner could have easily nipped over and got a new damper for the door as to not traumatise all of their customers and the lone staff member whose sole job seemed to be ignoring retail customers whilst carelessly slapping together online orders.

There was no greeting from the man behind the counter and my sensory nightmare continued when I tried to check-in using the microscopic QR codes taped to the tables as what I can only assume was a captive silverback gorilla performing unpaid labour smashed around in the kitchen behind him.

The service was rude and the worker obviously had no qualms about showing me he would rather be elsewhere. With each ingredient I asked for, he added smaller and smaller handfuls and by the time he finished making my sandwich, it closed with ease - unlike the nicer franchises I’ve visited in which they must summon great strength to suppress the freshness between two beautiful slices of bread. I imagine this is encouraged in order to reduce expenses and maximise profits by owners who couldn’t care less about the standards they’re supposed to maintain.

He slapped my sandwich down on the counter and asked quite aggressively if there was anything else I wanted - to which I replied no thank you, paid for my sun and left.

On my way out I noticed there was no hand sanitiser so I don’t imagine hygiene (at a very shaky point in the pandemic) is very important to the current owners.

I wouldn’t bother heading to this place or ordering from them in the future - it’s a dive. If you truly wish to eat fresh, vote with your feet and go to the one on Pako.instead as the ingredients are sparse and taste of sadness here.

If have been to subway many time. I myself was employee there and I know how to serve a confused customer. Their was a girl who served me and the way she was doing it was really rude. She nodded her head unnecessarily and I just didn’t like the way I was treated.

Didn't toast my subway when asked. Workers didn't seem welcoming and didn't put the right sauces on my sub
