Suburban Grind reviews
48The coffee was weak and lukewarm. We had hair in the food and when complained the staff member kept staring at us. Never going there again.
The coffee is good. The weekend can be busy and the wait can be long. The food is average.
I had the omelette it was dry and nothing special. The croissant and scrambled eggs was better
Closed too early. When we are free and want a coffee to relax. The shop staff are already " relaxed ".
I used to be a regular customer here. But the staff are super rude to me. Every time I order something for dine in they never bring the food to me and always call me up to pick up my order. The staff are not well mannered at all. They are rude and do not present them self neatly. Every morning I always order my coffee from here and am always friendly but the staff is super rude. Do not waste a dime here. Not worth it!
The staff are some of the most lovely people, I really appreciate how kind and thoughtful they are! The food is top tier! I really, really recommend the grind for a very lovely meal and brilliant coffee.
Coffee is average. Can hardly taste the coffee just the milk, very weak. I bought a small coffee (4oz cup) which is the same price as a regular (8oz cup) in most other places.
Had the blueberry pancakes which were really good. The almond crossaint was good but soggy not crispy, needed to be warmed up in a oven. Coffee was good but suggest getting an extra shot or else would be on the weaker side.
My wife was on the lookout for cafes that sold a big breakfast that had beans with it. In our search, we came across the Grind, which we always ignored because it was right beside Coles.
The food was phenomenal. My wife had the aforementioned Big Breakfast and I had a smashed avocado on toast with a side of smoked salmon. I remarked that even the tomatos tasted so good. Really big portions and everything tasted delicious.
The staff were also incredibly friendly and accommodation. We arrived just as it opened and were happy to wait as they got ready but they were really accommodating.
Would definitely reccomended.
Got an amazing extra large flat white coffee ️ just right, not too hot or cold and awesome taste. Lots of seating and the tables were clean and tidy
Great space, simple food that tastes delicious, delicious coffee, and friendly service. Keep going back because, why wouldn't you?
Cannot speak for the food as have yet to try but the coffee is spot on! Smooth and velvety no ounce of bitterness (not burnt Erghh) have been ordering regularly every morning via Door dash and we are very happy customers! Can’t wait to dine in soon. Kudos to the Barista
I just to order from this place for delivery but they reduce the km in the apps, now I missed their breakfast and their coffee.
Atrocious service with mediocre food. Friendly staff having a good time behind the counter - having too much fun that seems to be at the cost of customer service. Be prepared to wait half hour for a coffee and lot more if you order food.
The coffee is 5/5. The Parma, 5/5. The blueberry pancakes? 10/5. So amazing)
Baked eggs is also 5/5)
Thick shakes are divine.
Great food
Friendly servers.
Can have slow service days, but food remains great.
This is our new brunch cafe
Great little cafe in the shopping centre. Really good coffee. Love the ambience. Nice couches to sit at and watch the world go by.
RUDE STAFF!
Very rude Barrista! We went to the cafe with my little one for a start of the day weekend breakfast. The order placing area is so far away from the cashier and we couldn't hear what she was saying.
So we moved closer to the counter which is placed in a weird way. But the lady who was doing the coffees literally gave us a rude comment to move aside which my little one got upset as well!
The staff who was serving the food where good, but the Barrista sounds like she was working through her last day. She could have been more polite to the customers.
Spoiled our morning breaky! Never again to this joint!
Just had a look through other comments and figured out that its the same thing happening to others Racism!
Been there twice already. The coffee is great, staff are friendly and the food is delicious.
Food is good but weak coffee cause they use a “strong blend” then charge you for an extra shot you already requested when you first ordered the coffee more than 10 mins previously when it’s not even busy…
