Suburban Dining + Rooftop

My partner and his friends and I came for the NYE event. I have been here before and loved this place and the service. But one of the staff members on nye was quite rude for a simple mistake. My partner (drunk) and I (sober) were waiting for his mate outside the toilets and my partner lent on what we thought was a walk but ended being a door to an office? Maybe. And a staff member was walking over as he did it and spoke so rudely to my partner for doing so to what my partner said in really sorry I didn’t realise it was a door. Then my partners mate started talking back to him which wasn’t okay either don’t get me wrong. But I’m unhappy with his first initial response to what was an accident. The guy seemed to think my partner was trying to walk in which certainly wasn’t what was happening. All the other staff members were great tho. But this guy has really put me off visiting again.

Was a bit lost trying to get here from carpark. You think by parking right at the top means there will be an entry, but no. I could see the restaurant and yet couldnt enter. But this is Eastland’s design mistake. When I finally found the entry, I think the rooftop area is massive, although it was like a labyrinth, there is a lot of decor and walls so it was not a one big open area, more like divided into sections but it was rather hard to find my group. You can order online using qr code. Had gnocchi and a soda which both was surprisingly nice. I am not a gnocchi person but had to order that one because of some reason and I was pleasantly surprised. Nice texture, nice tangy sauce but quite balanced. The pictures on the menu looks tiny but in real life it is bigger portion. Overall very happy with my visit, and music wasnt blaring where we sat so it was a good, chilled place to chat when the weather was nice. Would come back here and try other things.

Lovely rooftop bar with friendly, helpful staff. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Went to this place for some drinks after dinner. We came in earlier than our booking time and they accommodated us which was great. Place was quite noisy as it was on a Saturday night. Overall it’s alright. The only thing though is when you are seated upstairs it’s difficult to get a staff and you wouldn’t know the person walking past you is a staff (unless they have food or drinks on hand to deliver) as they don’t have a uniform or a badge that identifies them as staff. Order is done via QR code which is cool and orders arrived quickly which is good.

A total eating experience

Called in for a beer on the way home, walking from the train, and although the was a wide variety of beers on offer, they all seemed the have the taste of home brew. Not to my taste but a lot of people like it. The was a singer and guitarist for entertainment. Unfortunately the guitarist was louder than the singer. He should be reminded he is the accompanying artist. A bit of a barn, but again some people like that.

Service was great. Asked, to move an umbrella due to sun and they did it no probs. Great team of staff. Food and drinks good.

Went tonight for the first time. Waited about 5 mins for someone to notice we needed seating.
Venue was about 40 degrees inside and loud as all hell.
Food was horrendous. Steaks overcooked at one end and under-cooked at the other, calamari was rubber, popcorn chicken was clearly off and the waiter spilt a drink right into the lap of one of our party.
Will never be going back.

Had a booking for a birthday celebration and the staff were all fantastic.
They were all extremely attentive and checked in on us for drinks and ordering our meals, we didn't have to wave anyone down or sit there and wait awkwardly for someone to come over.
They gave great recommendations as well on what to drink and order.
Our group had a range of things from the cheeseburger, chicken Parma, gnocchi and the grazing board and all of the food was exceptional.
Could not recommend this place high enough.

A great place to meet and unwind with colleagues from work to celebrate end of term.
Didn't order food other than chips to share. Nice location tucked away in the corner of the square.
Enjoyed a glass of bubbly or two.

Lovely afternoon on rooftop bar then moved down to the restaurant.

Bland food, rib eye was $55 and only worth about $30-40MAX.next time I know to just buy a huge tomahawk from coles for $35! Chips soggy.over all the food was MEH.beer was the saving grace tonight and the people were nice.

When contacted using the details they provide all you get is a generic response that has empty promises and doesn't address the issues raised at all

Service is less than spectacular, during happy hour they changed their mind about what was included, first time it's $8, second time it's $14 (within a 30 minute period of the happy hour) when questioned staff are unable to provide an explanation

Had a wonderful time, spoke to both Tim and Shaun who looked after us and were great blokes. Food was wonderful, cocktails were great with a wide selection of non-alcoholic options if desired. A beautiful rooftop and can't wait to go again!

Attended with some friends for a great afternoon feed & drinks. Staff wonderful and amazing atmosphere. 100% would come back!

Disappointed with our experience, pictures look good on website but rooftop bar area is average, drinks were good, food was average and overpriced. Had a couple of rounds of drinks and food to share then left and went somewhere else.

Wowee what an incredible venue! Ridiculously nice staff, amazing selection of food and drinks, and the rooftop was just *chefs kiss*. Can’t wait to go back!

Nice place! Food was alright but did take a while to come out although we did have a large order and it was a busy Wednesday night. Could order drinks quickly though.

We had a great night!
Parma night was a hit, good drink selection, great atmosphere for catching up with friends.
