Style Theory.

I hired a dress for delivery in early September (with event in mid Sept). I cancelled this request a few days after booking the request, to be told I would be given a credit note for the dress and delivery cost (no refund).

Five days after the email from Style Theory I get an email from them to say the dress is being delivered. I email them again telling them I cancelled this already, to which they apologised and told me to send the dress back with the satchel bag in the package (and with my credit note intact).

I received the package today and the return satchel bag is tiny. It cannot fit the dress that they sent to me. So now it becomes my problem to resolve how to send this dress back?

I have asked for a refund but I am sure I won’t get it. This is customer service at its worst. The dress was in great condition but this whole process has been a pain to deal with.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! I wish I read the reviews prior to attempting to hire from here. I am located in Sydney, NSW and they are in Melbourne, VIC. I put through for a dress hire for my hens party about 3 weeks prior. The week of the hire needing to be se out, I sent out many emails, texts and even tried calling them following up where the dress was with no response. I then finally get a response from them on Friday afternoon (needing the dress for Saturday) advising the dress was with them for ‘pick up’ and they tell me they had it in the system as ‘pick up’. I said how could this be it as I am in Sydney and I looked back at my emails and could see I selected shipping as well as entered in my shopping address with shipping charged. I explained many times to them my situation this was my hens party and I needed something urgent for the next day at such short notice, no empathy or customer service care, they ignored me and continued to be sarcastic saying ‘have a good day’ and ‘good luck finding something’. I begged for a refund to help me find something else with them saying a credit note can only be issued. Horrific experience and they ruined my whole hens weekend. Save yourself the hassle and don’t hire from. Communication is so bad and I can see others have been given refunds but they continue to hold onto my money, which is fraudulent and will be taken further. No respect for their customers and money. Find somewhere else to hire as there are many better places.

Lots of styles available for younger generation 16-40 year old. Clothes were in poor condition though. Some were a bit grotty looking and others had pulls in fabric.

I have hired a few times and had a great experience. Good stock, everything I hired was new or great condition. I think they have a great variety. I have already booked another hire.

I hired a dress. Picked it up and when I got home to try it on - the stitching at the front was torn and unwearable. Very disappointed as you would assume the staff would check the dress before it gets picked up. Requested a refund for both the dress and the shipping. Had to follow up multiple times. The dress was refunded but not the shipping. It’s not been 2 weeks and I’m still chasing the postage fee with no response. Terrible service and would not recommend.

Awful. My dress arrived stitched up at the neckline - a terrible hack job. Was told it was sent from the dry cleaners and they don’t check them! Previous person took it upon themselves to alter it. Then told to post back, they had another they’d send to me. Mid the next day I get a call to say they couldn’t send it after all. Luckily hadn’t posted it back yet! My event was next day. I then tried to unpick it - holding it that close made it obvious it still smelt if the previous persons deodorant. Stitches were tight and messy so needed someone to help me - they agreed the dress was not properly cleaned.
Only persevered because it was too late to find something else. No discount for the trouble. Terrible. There are much better companies to deal with. Try Dress for a night!

This was the first time I have ever hired from Style Theory and it was such an exceptional experience! I made a few stuff ups with my delivery options and within a couple hours i received a response from my email with a solution! They communicated so well and were so lovely to talk to! Have recommended Style Theory to all my friends and will definitely be using in the future! Keep up the amazing customer service!

Have hired from Style Theory many times, always a seamless transaction, the stock is always in excellent condition, drop off afterwards and they sort the dry cleaning for you. Usually have current season dresses and availability has always been good, great selection of styles and sizes.

The process was quick and easy. Drop was the same as well, straight to the dry cleaners and you’re done! Thanks ladies received so many compliments on the dress!
