Strike Bowling Chadstone reviews
17The guy served me was very unprofessional. He was not welcoming me and my friend, and we left there not knowing what to do and get into the bowling booking machine which not working. But when there was another customer after us came, he welcomed them instead. At the end we book the bowling for one game and order a fries, he totally forgot our order! We about to finish the game, and when we asked, he said he forgot. There was literally only 3 groups around, was not busy at all. At the end we received our chips when we finished our game and get it for takeaway instead. Very disappointing.
A fun Monday night out! Chadstone’s Social area has lots of fun things to do any night of the week.
Bonnie was so fun and helped create a memorable bowling experience with her infectious enthusiasm and good vibes. Loved it here! Also loved her New Jersey accent haha
Had my sons birthday party there! Kids had a blast! Awesome place. Adam & Emma we’re so accomodating will definitely be back!
Sure, this may be the most basic Strike bowling ever (8 lanes and a bar), but that does not stop me from letting the good times roll here. The main draw for me is the theming based around a train station, which really adds to the experience of an already awesome venue.
For shoes, you grab them yourselves which saves time and is more efficient that way, even though it's counterintuitive but still!
Even the lanes light up as the rails with your lane being a train platform, and there's also helpful advice for the balls (I wish other venues had this). And you type in the names yourselves so you don't embarrass yourself from a spelling error (you could also do pictures instead for the names).
Once again, thank you for letting my good times roll from your ever loyal Fun Pass holder,
DNC52
Sad to say this is another venue without a direct phone number and after waiting for a considerable time no response.
Rohan is the best employee evvvvaaa such a great bloke. Needs a promo asap. He was understanding when I was hurt and immediately helped and cared for me
Brian. Amazing customer service personally filling my cousins water up, aside from that I really loved the theme and the whole bowling alley it’s self. (sorry if I spelt your name wrong Brian)
Had a great experience with exceptional service particularly from a lovely lady Bonnie and another staff Jye. They were quick to greet all customers making us all feel welcomed, as well as informing us of where to go, what they have on offer, and let us know anything we needed to know so we were left feeling comfortable and confident. Thanks Bonnie and Jye!
Fun atmosphere with a kid friendly approach.way to easy to loose track of time and enjoy yourself
Took my girls on a curriculum day. Lots of fun and Rowan was super helpful with helping us get our shoes, to setting us up and helping when we had some trouble with the lane. Will definitely be back again soon
Rowan was so nice he saved me from the bowling alley monster and even solvwd my parents divorce all while having a smile on his face. Thank you Rown. We WILL be back.xoxo
Took our daughter to strike for her 7th birthday and Liz and Fran went out of their way to make her birthday special. Gave us a jug of apple juice on the house and a milkshake for both our kids. Made our daughters day. Thankyou.
I was in a dark patch of my life, struggling to get out of bed in the mornings, With a good ol’ game of bowling and magnificent hosting ROWAN pulled me out of my deep state of depression and brightened my life, I do believe this man is the second coming of Jesus. God bless ROWAN he saved my life!
Awesome deals on weekdays! Rowan’s customer service was fantastic and the lanes are in great shape. Will be back!
Long time since I have bowled. The impressive fitout made the experience a real adventure.
It’s our first time to Strike Chadstone, given the hype of it’s new social quarter we decided to celebrate my husband’s birthday there.
Everything about the concept shouts cool initially. But it all went downhill from there. At our bowling lane, it was painfully slow in keying in all our player names. So we decided to just go ahead with default players 1-5. It started okay, but by the 5th bowl, the glitch continued - all the pins weren't stacked. There were only 5 out of the 10. We had to look for the staff numerous times and it took over an hour to “resolve”. After the first problem was fixed, another problem arose. We were perpetually stuck in one round of bowl, without being able to move on.
We booked for 2 rounds of bowlings but pretty much could only finish our first in our 2 hour timeslot and time was nearly up. We had to even look for the staff to ask how we could work around our game only to be told “there was no faults prior to our session, only ours “
In the end, we suggested to the staff if we could either refund the second round or get credits to play the second game we paid for another time, and were given vouchers to return another round for the game which we PAID for anyways, as 2 hours had passed just for one game and we would run late for our dinner reservation.
In addition, our kids were growing inpatient with the wait. So we ordered drinks and a platter of fries to share only to be served COLD fries which had to be brought to the front counter to be reheated.
Our overall experience was truly a disappointment given the hype of this space and the customer service was truly poor in dealing with our situation. I believe with the free bus from Fed Square, this strike branch should be upto international standards for tourists or visitors from all around. Mind you, we came in the same weekend, following the official launch on Wednesday. I am sure strike would have anticipated the crowd. Even if the systems may suffer some hiccups, which we have only technology to blame, I think staffs and the strike crew should be well trained with customer service and problem resolutions.
