Guy is a thief don’t deal with him unless you want to be out of pocket. Made a purchase during Covid had no stock and advised it was coming, three years on and mutiple emails I still have nothing and out of pocket. You try to support small local business rather than going elsewhere but never again I will shop here, highly recommend avoiding…: I believe karma will have its day!

Two orders placed in August and September remain undelivered and were reported as "awaiting stock". Numerous emails have apparently been ignored as has my requests to refund the payments which I made in good faith when placing the orders (the total is almost $1,000).
This is very disappointing and frustrating.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with Strictly Ham?
I am reluctant to take the matter further but in the absence of a satisfactory response I am considering what options are available.

I really wanted to give this place five stars, my first purchase of ayaesu ft5dr was flawless, my 2nd purchase not so much.purchased FT818 + antenna back in March 2022.when i checked back after a few days and saw my purchase was still sitting at processing, thought okay might be stocking issues, gave it another week.same thing.tried calling across multiple days where the call would either ring out or get a busy tone.tried emailing via the web, waited a few days and no response.tried one more day of calling and same thing of busy tone or ring out with no answer or answering machine so issued a clawback via my bank which still took forever.id understand if stock wasn't in but this wasn't what was reflected on the site and the fact of not being able to get a hold of anyone meant i've placed this order online in the USA and got the same items delivered straight away - yeah it hurt a bit in AUD -> USD conversion but was kept notified of the different stages, tracking # etc.

Have dealt with Strictly Ham many times. Both by phone and at the shop. If it’s in stock normally delivered with a day or two. Phone two days ago regarding a HF mobile. It was available and he held for me. Good friendly service. And like I said to him, I’ll be back.

Ross is such a great guy to deal with. He listens patiently and helps identify a suitable product to meet the customers needs.

Refund's cash due to problems getting stock. Then takes cash back out of my account without consultation.item's still not sent after a year of waiting. Next step contacting A Current Affair.

Overcharged me $50, and it took two years to get it back. Tried to get a HT antenna of equal value a few times to easily square it. After two years, sent another email demanding payment with the intention of calling consumer affairs if unsuccessful. Was asked for bank account information. Two days later the payment was made right before I sent another email asking for payment confirmation.

Made an online order for high quality coax for my HAM shack, arrived here in Brisbane two days later. Could not ask for better delivery time and quick dispatch. Thanks SH team!

Bought an swr meter. Was told they're awaiting stock, after paying. 12 months later, still no swr meter. Cancelled order. Refund took 3 phone calls over a month. Ive used strictly twice and had bad experiences both times. Won't be trying a third.

This shop has an amazing array of radio ham equipment And the wealth of knowledge and information I received from the owner and other customers was invaluable
