Streets of Hyderabad reviews
53 I always come here for dosa and it's mostly delicious!
However, on Friday, Feb 02, the lentils in the masala dosa filling were not fully cooked and hence spoiled the experience. I'd also recommend having a staff member to attend at the front where it says please wait to be seated as we stood there but no one attended us and we had to walk towards the bar area to ask for a table.
Amazing food. Must try the spicy chicken starter. It's delicious and my personal favourite!
Been here first time. Service from pinky was very welcoming. She is been very knowledgeable about the menu and recommends best as per your taste.
Lunch visited on Sunday at 1pm~
Brilliant choices of Indian food here. We were craving for pani puri and they didn't disappoint us. Loved the presentation of Pani puri!
Also, the curry chicken was outstanding, juicy and tender! Deffo come back soon!

- Mutton biriyani

Recommended by friends and finally made my way here. Authentic Indian cuisine - flavoursome, delicious, friendly service. So many dishes I wanted to try but was so full! Good sized portions, kids loved it too!
My recent order included Pani Puri and chicken biryani. Unfortunately, the Pani Puri was truly disappointing, perhaps the worst I've ever had. The chicken biryani, while not terrible, didn't quite meet the mark of greatness. Regrettably, I won't be recommending this shop based on the overall underwhelming experience.
Ordered chicken biriyani family pack along with Chicken 65. Chicken biriyani was okay with respect to the taste as it was a bit high on masala and pieces were more compared to rice. Chicken 65 was great, the meat was soft and tasted excellent as well.
Affordable price and want to try out other options as well next time.
Hyderabadi chicken Biryani is so good. Got to taste the real Authentic Hyderabadi dum flavour.
Best Indian restaurant around I ever been in Melbourne. Vegetarian Thali is the best you should go for
One of the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne. Authentic south Indian taste and good hospitality. I had gongura mutton curry after long time the dish is perfect…tender, awesome flavor.
Clean and tidy inside the restaurant. Satisfied with the hospitality. Highly Recommended Indian restaurant.
Ordered chilli chicken Biriyani. Most of the chicken was raw and uncooked. It was like they just tossed the raw chicken on some chilli paste and added it into the rice. The onions were burnt.
[Update post the owner’s reply]:
I am amazed by the sheer audacity of the owner calling a customer stupid for sharing their experience.
Yes I got the name of the dish wrong but that does not change the fact that they served sub-par and poor quality food that could have hurt my health.
And I am not quite sure if you understand the concept of reviews Mr. Owner. Reviews are not a place to resolve issues, I am well aware there are other avenues to do it and more effectively. Reviews are for people to share their experience.
And yes I took a refund. Did you forget to mention I returned the food completely or did you ignore it? I mean what do you expect? Me to pay for the disastrous food (could have been better fried chicken biriyani) and leave it?
And getting a refund does not change the fact that they served burnt onions with the Biriyani and served ‘could have been better fried chicken’. And they have asked me not come to their restaurant again. Oh please do they think I will even risk my health going for their most popular ‘could have been fried better chicken biryani’
Accidentally we found this restaurant me and friend tried it first time and we love the food and service.
Good and delicious food. Spicy level is bit higher. Overall good place to have authentic Indian Hyderabadi food.
Most amazing food ever fresh & tasty,
best chicken 65 & biryani, must say Mutton biryani is better than even paradise,
Thanks for the yummy food & super friendly staff, much appreciated Happy New Year 2023
Veg thali used to be very delicious but lost its taste completely these days. Tried it multiple times but the quality is not the same anymore. And waiting time after food ordering is very long.
Ps: not sure why Front desk staff behave like they dont bother about the customers. Basic courtesy lacks always.
I often prefer to dine in here. But last time when I vist food was not fresh on Saturday night food.
If you're looking for some Fiery Andhra (South Indian) food, this is the place Absolutely loved the Mango dal, Rice & Chicken 65 combo.add a cold kingfisher and ypu'll be in heaven Geat food, keep up the quality.not to forge the two lovely ladies who served guests with a Big smile were very friendly and sweet. Kodos Guys
I have been on the hunt for decent Indian food and this place does not disappoint! Their palak paneer and reshmi curry are to die for! Lush, rich sauces and their naan bread is amazing. Quite honestly- the best curries I’ve ever eaten.
Their Biriyani and chicken 65 are a must try. I was disappointed with limited options but everything I have tried at this place is really good. I just wish they introduced new South Indian dishes to their menu.
