Street Phở reviews
60Variety of dishes. Had beef and tendon pho - yummy soup. Drank all the soup. Pork chop, egg, pickled carrot dish was yummy too. Best to pay your meal using cash. Paying by Card charge is 2%.
They messed up our order and gave us combination beef instead of the one we ordered. The guy in glasses was also rude to me talking all the way from another end of the cafe
Definitely recommend!
when I was pregnant I was here x4 times a week!
So so delicious!
The tofu pho and black bean beef is a must!
One combination beef soup 18 dollars. And card surcharge 1.5 Dollars. No idea how 1.5 surcharge happens.
Ordered 2 different pho, both tasted amazing and good serving sizes. Staff were happy and attentive. Shout out to the kind young gentleman who ran outside to look for us when we left a bag behind, excellent service. Would come back again.
As good as pho next door, but 20% more expensive. I'd just walk ten metres and go to the other place.
My other half ate here and complained about how expensive it is. She didn't comment on how it tasted food wise so can't tell you.
So far it is the one that I come to have Bún bò Huế. I am still on the hunt for the best Bun Bo Hue in Melbourne
It's not the cheapest Vietnamese place around but it's worth it! Delicious food, great atmosphere and really nice staff.
Good local Vietnamese joint. Enjoyed the bun bo hue (spicy beef soup) and combination crispy noodles. The sugar crane special drink is very refreshing. Service is a hit and miss at times.
I'm not sure if they have changed ownership but this place has gone downhill very quickly unfortunately.
Worst service I’ve ever had. Walked in no welcome, I expect that they ran out of ingredients to gave us only the option to have pho.
No cups for tea, had to ask 3 times to have the cups out. No apologies if was forgotten.
Pho was floating with oil and beef smelled bad.
It was an awful experience. Certainly, we will never go back there again!
Second time here this week.
Most delicious Vietnamese/ Asian cuisine in the area.
For lunch, The Pho was had the clearest, tastiest broth with the freshest ingredients.
For Dinner, we had the delicious XO pipi and Chinese donut, Hu Tieu and crispy chicken, salt and pepper chicken ribs. 10/10 for flavour and execution.
It was super busy, but i think the staff handled the pressure extremely well.
Had dinner here a while ago. We ordered the normal pho here: one spicy, one no spicy. The food was mouth-watering, only problem was that they gave 2 spicies. Eventually, they corrected our order but they let us have the extra dish for free. Very friendly customer service. Definitely recommend.
It is the second time to eat here with my family.
Food is average. But it is not as good as restaurants in Springvale.
The waiter forgot to order, so I had to wait about 20-25 mins after the other two dishes finished.
The dish is different from the menus. I ordered rice with pork rib, but The served dish was not pork rib. Pretty disappointed, but we didn't want to wait another 30mins to get the right one.
Also, we had to wait 15mins to pay the bill.
Extremely poor hygiene. "Clean" tea cups were placed on the table before we sat down. Went to use them and noticed they were still dirty and had lipstick marks on them. Imagine what goes on in the kitchen!
Good sized servings, fast and prompt service with a smile (behind a mask) and flavours to die for. My new go to place for restaurant quality home cooked meals.
Great tasting food but was there on Sunday afternoon and real busy, 45min + for meals to arrive
Love the food there always! The only downside is that they always put us close to the window and the door where the sun was directly into the eyes and the air-conditioning is not strong enough for these few hot days we have in Melbourne. I have actually seen some customers sat down and left due to the same reason. Room for improvement.
I usually buy my bun bo hue here and thought it was good so been a regular customer. However tonight ordered hu tieu nam vang and pho, when I went n pick up noticed there was an extra charge for $2. The guy at the counter basically argued with me about the extra noodle. In short, he still charge me incorrectly then when I questioned him about it, didn’t even apologise n said “I give u $1 back next time”. If the owner of this place is reading this, train ur staff to do better customer service mate. U just lost a customer. Good luck with ur business,
