Strathmore Farm and B&B

Amazing experience! Obviously the host has put a lot of effort into making the place comfy and welcoming, with freshly bake bread, home made jam, board games and cookies, etc. We’ve got a call from him with recommendations to local restaurants etc. The host has cats and he told us to not to let them in the rooms in case future visitors have allergies. So sweet and thoughtful! Also to mention that the host makes fresh jam!

Had a fabulous stay with Julie and Doug. Spent a week with them on a work assignment. The unit was great. Warm and cosy and super clean! Doug went out of his way to help with anything I needed. Beautiful home cooked bread and delicious jams. Also best homemade muesli I’ve tasted in a long while! Quality fittings, quality equipment, and quality people. Shared a bottle of wine with them at the end of the week. That was the least I could do for such a lovely stay!
Julie and Doug, you certainly have this B & B gig down pat! I would definitely stay again if in the area and would recommend!

Squeaky-clean, lovely renovated warm cottage and wonderful hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay with my husband and mum. Freshly baked bread and biscuits on arrival and yummy homemade jams. Everything was perfect and I hope to be able to return one day. Super good value for money. The pictures don't do the cottage and farm justice.

Stayed here for the Gippsland County Music Festival.
After returning to the farm, wet and cold it was a pleasure as the bungalow was warm and cosy with everything to make our stay very comfortable.
Lovely hosts, highly recommend and hopefully we will be back same time next year

Quiet and serene getaway from the bustle of Melbourne. Doug is a fantastic host and the homemade jams made by Julie tasted fantastic. They also setup a barbecue that was used by me and my 3 mates. The rooms are very modern and comfortable compared to the country vibe around, which is a plus point. Definitely coming back to this gem of a place!

I spent 3 nights here and the accommodation was very clean, very comfortable and close to the township. Julie and Doug were friendly and helpful and I was provided with everything I needed for breakfasts plus more. I have no hesitation in recommending Strathmore Farm B&B for a relaxing and peaceful stay.

Gorgeous environment, spotlessly clean, beautiful linen; and the homemade bread was the best. Would highly recommend.

Best Place we have been ever! Beautiful, clean and an amazing place for holiday. Kids enjoyed walking around and loved spending time with the sheeps, chickens and lambs. We all roamed around freely and had a picnic lunch inside the farm! Will be coming back soon
