Strandbags Doncaster

Have a issue with a suitcase, so called up the Doncaster store and spoke with Alysha, who was beyond helpful and very polite. She gave me all the information I needed all while providing excellent service. Thank you Alysha. Keep up the good work:)

They do not understand customer service. Very rude service and yelling at customers. Seriously team needs to be changed get some better people to work for strandbags in Westfield Doncaster.

The lady in dark skin was rude and was of no help. We went in for a exchange and she of no help.

After a blunt hello, the two ladies ignored my clear interest in some products and need for assistance, instead they spoke between each other for 5-10 minutes before i left without any assistance.

I've been in there twice now looking for advice and to purchase some luggage.
The first visit there was abundant staff but it was chaotic in the store - no direction, stock in boxes along one entire side wall of the store.
Most recently I went to explore the sale on luggage. 2 staff members, one who was heavily involved with an older couple - who couldn't even acknowledge me (?) and another who was sitting cross legged on the floor rearranging all the womens purses including opening each one individually to inspect their lining. I also must have been wearing my invisibility outfit that day because I managed to push a whole bunch of boxes out of my way to see the Samsonite luggages on the back wall.
I was in the store for at least 10 minutes thoroughly inspecting luggage and not one single person acknowledged my presence.
TK Maxx downstairs currently has a similar Samsonite suitcase on sale at $199 instead of Strandbags $300+ on sale. And they say hello down there:)

Went there last thursday (18/04/2019) to pick up my suitcase.a girl was busy (alone) doing packing and unpacking goods.don’t even acknowledge, no eye contact, a cold face.have to approach her.not happy to work? Then stay home.

I recently went to this store to buy an expensive handbag and I was browsing around the shop for quite some time. I must have dressed in my invisable outfit that day because not one of the 3 assistants seemed to notice me the whole time.
I'm sure it must have been very rude of me to interrupt their intense conversation about clothes and holidays whilst opening boxes but it had to be done.
I politely asked for some help because the expensive bags were up the top and out of my reach so I asked "excuse me can you please get down two bags that I can't reach? ". She grabbed the first one, plonked it down and then snapped "and the other? ".
There was no smile, no help, no advice so as she scurried back to her important conversation I left the bags where she plonked them and walked out.

Great service when I called to check on a product before I visited. Excellent assistance & knowledge of products when I went to shop. The Staff were polite, friendly & very willing to help.
I was very pleased with my purchase & the bonus discount I received, on top of the sale price, because I was a member of their loyalty program. I really like the products at Strandbags. Thank you for all your help.
Great parking at Doncaster too so no problems there.

I had a positive experience in store today when i brought my faulty luggage in store and asked for repair of product. I was served by margaret who was so understanding and polite and very helful when it came to explaining policy. She had given me a far better option and that was to pay difference for another suitcase which had solved all my problems and now have a better quality suitcase at an affordable price thanks to margaret. I am very appreciative of her efficient service and will be a returning customer to your store.

We have purchased two Samsonite suitcases nearly $1000. The staff with dark skin about middle age woman was extremely rude to us. She offered no help to get the product and argued with us with the product features. I do not understand how this attitude can exist in Australian retail industry when everyone is trying hard to provide best customer service. Even her colleague apologised on her behalf to us. I would suggest to avoid shopping there in case you come across her.
