11Ive never walked into strand bags expecting to buy a new suitcase, for me it was just a browse, get some info and shop around, then got approached by a sales assistant by the name of Larissa Issa, (its on my receipt) she was outstanding in customer service, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very professional and engaging to the point i ended up buying not 1 but 2 new, bags, a suitcase and a bag for my wife. With service like hers, why would you go anywhere else, thanks for your unforgettable service Larissa, and best of luck in your future
Was disappointed at the woman perhaps owner, I approached to do an exchange due to not being satisfied with the product. Quote: You should’ve realised the fault when you bought it!

I got a third degree nasty direct questioning on a simple exchange. So not going back to this store disgusting attitude. The customer needs help to be satisfied not confused and misunderstood!
The girls never even acknowledge you, or even smile, when you walk into the store and never offer a helping hand when trying to reach for bags on the shelves
I've been in there a couple of times, including today the 4th of July, to view this bag I have been eyeing and not once have they said hello or asked if I needed help, one girl just stared at me. It put me off entirely
Bought a bag recently from the Watergardens store & then changed my mind about it. Went back the next day & was able to exchange it for another one with no hassles. On both occasions the staff who served me were smiling, friendly & attentive.
Purchased twice in last 3 weeks. Girls were very helpful on both occasions.

Sometimes they have doubles of the bags on display. Might be able to get bags that haven't been on display and still in its packaging. Ask the question.
Customer service at this store needs improvement. Was ignored for a good 5 minutes after asking for help. There were no other customers in the store. Sales assistant just continued to work on a handbag display after I asked for her assistance. Ended up leaving as I wasn't sure how long she was going to take with her display before she got around to giving me a hand.
Went into this store today and was looking at purchasing a new guess handbag. The customer service was absolutely horrible. No greeting upon entering the store, no help to purchase a bag. Simply stood behind the counter looking at their phones.
No wonder why people prefer to purchase online or direct from the guess store as that is horrible customer service.

We had purchased a Samsonite extra large lugguage less than one month ago from the Strandbags Watergardens store just before overseas travel. The only thing I did was put my clothes in and lock the suitcase. Nothing else.
At the airport we were asked to open the suitcase but the lock did not budge when we put in our combination and even the default combination. We contacted the Strandbag store and they advised us to bring it back once we returned and to also break the lock if necessary (which we DID NOT) to retrieve our clothes.
Came back to the store upon our return and the manager denied all responsibility repetitively straight away and had the audacity to say it was our fault and/or the airline's fault and that something made the inside barrel loose so you can't open the lock (lay people do not know this stuff). They gave us a card to get it replaced or fixed for $35. And also advised us to use a manual lock if we didn't want to use the built in lock. What is the point of the lock or the warrantee?
I don't write reviews unless they are really good or really bad. But this was a first world horrible experience. It was stressful at the airport as we nearly missed our flight and I don't have time to bring stuff back and forth to the store and be blamed for it. While it was not a super expensive suitcase, it was still worth a lot and I would like to still use it in the future without the added stress.
We have previously purchased from this store with no issues but this time the customer service was somewhat disappointing. Please step up your game.
We have contacted Samsonite and will be taking further action if necessary.
If you do purchase from here ask in detail what they cover in their guarantee, record, and triple check everything. Never be too careful.

I was really happy with the manager, I think her name is Josie, she helped me resolve an issue and gave excellent customer service.
Very friendly staff and good choices, i didnt like the sale items being mixed with other items and its hard to really find what you are after.i also dont like the idea when it says sale on selected items and you have to actually spend whole lot of time to find the sale items from pile of mixed ones.
