Strandbags

As MD of a medium-sized marketing company I was disappointed in the service level offered by the staff yesterday (Sunday, 15 October 2023). After having to seek out a staff member to get some advice on the purchase of a new suitcase she suddenly disappeared. When I turned around to ask another question she and the other 2 staff members were behind the desk discussing something on on 1 of their mobile phones thus ignoring not only us but other customers in the store. We also visited Tosca beforehand and the level of customer service and advice was chalk and cheese compared to what was offered at Strandbags at DFO Moorabbin. Needless to say we returned Tosca and purchased the suitcase case from Tosca even though some of the product options available were cheaper from Strand Bags. As a marketing person driving people into the store is one thing but when the staff don't finish of the process what's the point?

Visited today to look at suitcases. Geraldine could not have been helpful. She is very knowledgeable and gave up at least 30 minutes of her time to help me. She also passed on handy travel hints. Service is amazing and would not hesitate in recommending this shop.

Really disappointed with the service here!
I wanted to buy a suitcase, there was one lady in there who was really rude and seemed to be angry. When checking out she throws the suitcase on the ground to take the small size suitcase out as I didn’t want it. Then when zipping it up was so rough with the bag it now has scratches on it, but I was too scared to say anything. Overall not happy with the way I was treated and won’t be coming back as I felt disrespected!

Sales assistant helped me very quickly her name was Melissa she guided me through the whole process the stock was available immediately I was lucky that it was the black Friday sale very happy with the whole experience in N Out with 4 suitcases within 30 minutes

Very happy with the customer service I received after a disappointing experience with strandbags online. The price was hundreds of dollars cheaper than for the exact same product online. I’ll be sure to check dfo first in future

Terrible customer service! I was walking into purchase a new hand bag and wallet. It would have been an easy sale for them. They where rude from the minute I walked in the door.

Good shop with good discounts. And. Ustomer services was OK untill I asked for a extra bad to put the two items I bought. They refused to give a extra bad saying due to security reasons. I really cannot find the logic behind it.

Trying to buy 2 bags as for a gift, but one didn't have a sku. Patiently waited about 10mins while the staff tried to find it without any luck. While the staff were very nice, I couldn't wait any longer and walked out without a purchase! Maybe let your staff use an 'miscellaneous' sku in these cases. What a waste of my time!
