I would like to bring to your attention about the experience I had at Strandbags Fountain Gate- It was not good at all.
On Thursday 28th September from 3pm onwards, I bought a Guess Angy top handle crossbody bag in black (number: and the lady who served me was a mature lady. She was rude and not helpful and I didnt say anything because I was really tired and I just wanted to buy the bag. The bag she gave me was faulty in two places in front of the bag and inside.
Today 1st October 2023 I was served by HB3065, I went to change the bag. She was more rude than the previous one and she was not willing to go and find another bag. She claimed that the bag that I am returning is the last one along with the one on display. I disagreed with her because it's the same, the bag looked old and looked like someone bought it and refund it. I heard a coworker whisper to HB3065 that they had 3 bags. I asked her to check the back and she went into the backroom, pretended to look and quickly came outside and said that they didn't have any. It didn't even take her one minute. I asked her if she could please see if Chadstone got one she said "Yes they have one" while she looked at her coworker while rolling her eyes I ignored it but the second time when I asked if she could just check if they have it or not she said you have to pay in order to hold it. I said I just needed her to check, I don't want to put a hold because I am going there immediately. Sometimes the computer shows something and it is a discrepancy. She again rolled her eyes. I had enough of the attitude and told her to leave it then I left the shop.
It's my fault to come and buy from a shop that employs people who don't have any manners or any qualifications to serve a customer. She was so rude. Who will visit your store? If you don't train them properly then your shop will be empty. Take a leaf out of other shops book and have a look at other shops they go beyond and above for their customer to come back again. I didn't go to Chadstone just in case I would see rude people again (it seems like you have a penchant for employing rude people). Your employees have the attitudes like they have been raised in a barn.

I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH SUCH TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE LIKE THIS BEFORE IN MY LIFE. Penny who appears to be the “manager” of this store is absolutely DISGUSTING. I was handled so rudely and treated without respect as a customer. I only asked a simple question if one of the Samsonite suitcases was available and I’d love to do a customer order if not in store. The way Penny spoke to me was so unprofessional, very bogan and rude attitude. Was no help at all and refused to help me. Can confidentially say I will never be coming back!
I went into strandbags to buy a few suitcases and the worker serving me was the manager She was so rude and racist towards me that I ended up walking out without purchasing and noticed the manager was also very rude to the employers.
They were able to grab me a new suitcase so I could gift it which was nice of them to offer but when they gave it to me the wheels had been used. Holly who handed me the bag was very rude and a mater of fact about it. Disappointing to gift a suitcase like this, brand new from the store, not even on display.
Staff were great. Couldn't find what I was looking for, so I asked a staff member and she looked it up for me. Told me they didn't have it but another store did, and she got them to hold it for me. Very happy.
Strandbags I found gave you some time to look around and then started serving you and helping you with the products/bags.
I found the staff to be very polite and helpful
I would shop there again because they did a good job serving me and their good manners.
Not a huge range of handbags but what they had was very nice. Not a very big range of purses either. Pricing was pretty standard and staff were helpful (not overly friendly but not rude either). Overall the store was ok.
Went to buy a leather bag as they were on sale. Couldn't really find what I was looking for, but then a saleslady came and asked if she could help. She showed me some bags I'd missed and found a beautiful bag. Really happy with the service I received from her (sorry but she didn't have a name tag on (but she was blonde) ) and I'm sure I'll go back again when I need another bag. Thank you for all your help.

Been after a new cross body bag that was slightly bigger then my current one but not too big and I was lucky enough to find exactly what I wanted. I love my new bag and slightly regret not getting the new purse I saw with it, especially with the sales they had on.
I’ve been in here a few times now to buy various things and a few times now I’ve dealt with the older manager lady with the blonde short hair she’s horrible to deal with full blown attitude and this (i don’t wanna be here) attitude obviously when going in you ask for some help if you’re unsure and she just looks down her nose at you with a Karen tone of voice like I’m stupid for asking questions I won’t be going back in if she’s working rather take my business to Chadstone or an outlet where they want to help you
I walked in to have a look and I fell inlove with a suitcase. My mother and grandma where very pushy and where trying to make me buy things I didn’t want to buy. I became very upset but ended up buying the suitcase thanks to this lovely woman that works there called Karen. I can’t even express how lovely she was. She honestly went above and beyond for me and she made me feel incredibly happy with my purchase. I will definitely be coming back here. Thanks Karen. You’re a superstar.
I found what I was after. There wasn't a large choice of card holders but I managed to find one that was ok plus a little gift for myself!
The 2 ladies were lovely and helpful too.
Went to the Fountain Gate store today armed with my phone and a list of bag photos from my wife. I asked for help and Minnie was fantastic. She gathered all the bags she had in stock and made my errand much simpler.

Staff member with blonde hair up and wearing glasses. Tried to argue with me that they never sold Lilly Bloom handbags. Yes they did as I bought my recent one from this store.
Staffs are friendly and knowledgeable lots of variety of bags and even more good when the sale is on or just become a member and you will get discount.
Love their variety of female wallets, and priced even better when the sales are on. Young staff were super helpful and knowledgeable. Would be good if they had more a variety of evening bags
Tried to exchange a faulty bag that my wife had bought 5days prior. Staff were rude and obnoxious and said we had damaged it ourselves trying to set the combination on the lock. Tried to make me pay $18 to send it away to be fixed as well as wait 2 weeks. Explained we fly out in 5 days to no avail. Recommend you spend your money elsewhere. We won't be back!

Tried to exchange damaged card holder I got for my wife. The lady was very rude and finally pulled the damaged bit from another item and replaced it.
There were multiple rude remarks including “please be careful with that”
Best service ever at Narre Warren Strandbags. I had bought a GUESS Bag at Strandbags at Forest Hill in Feb and the handle was already fraying. Even with a 12 month warranty, the manager was not willing to swap it over for a new bag and then insulted me by saying she did not even recognise the stock. I took the same bag to Fountain Gate Strandbags and they immediately said" Yes this is a common problem with Guess bags, yes that is new stock, let us swap it over to a leather Colorado bag. They were so nice, helped me find a new bag and matching clutch and let me immediately move my belongings to the new bag. Brilliant customer service, they could not be helpful enough.
