Been here numerous times and the food is always delicious! The ambience and vibe of thr place is cool and classy! Love it!

Such a cute Vietnamese restaurant with delicious food and cocktails. The Saigon Social for $44.50 is very much worth the money! We had so much food, we couldn’t even finish it all! The staff were also very accommodating. Even though I thought I had booked, I hadn’t! The staff were so lovely and sat us down at a table and then moved us to the bar when the table booking had arrived! It was lovely of them to be able to squeeze us in, even though they were booked out

Really relaxed space, staff were super friendly and accommodating and the food was really good too. Will definitely be back.

Everything we eat was delicious, washed down with some cocktails that popped in the mouth. This was matched by a friendly, snappy, and attentive service who clearly love their team and work. This enthusiasm makes it impossible to have a bad time.

The salmon sashimi is a great place to start. Cut into finger thick slices and with a lightly spicy sauce, it's a great way to get the flavours moving.

My only cirque is the music. Although blast to listen too, it was a little loud at times. This could make it hard for folks who struggle to hear across a busy restaurant. A small but considered tweak from the restaurant would go a long way for many patrions.

Opted for banquet option good value for money. One dish served not to my liking, too undercooked. Was rectified right away with a complimentary beer! Good customer service. Lamb skewers were absolutely delicious! Thank you for a nice lunch:)

A real highlight of any Melbourne trip is a visit to Straight Outta Saigon. The food is delicious, the whole Barramundi is an absolute treat. Great deals on offer, and excellent range of drinks. Highly recommended

Food is tasty and beautiful. So tasty yet very simple. The menu option is affordable and so worth the money. Kinda regret not going there a second night in a row.

Cocktails were light on alcohol. Pork belly bao had good crispy texture and flavour with a sauce akin to Peking duck sauce. Crispy chicken bao was crispy with thousand island dressing. Would go both pork belly next time. Salmon sashimi was the highlight. Fresh, tasty, zesty and spicy. Well balanced and great textures. Seafood spring rolls were crispy on the outside but filling was more of a seafood mash/ paste. The larger plates were large and filling but much too sweet. Shaking beef had a mix of tender and tough cuts. Capsicum and onions were cut oversized, which might be your thing. Vietnamese beef slaw was overly sweet again. Could have been more balanced with spice, citrus and Vietnamese mint. Might give this place a try again but would definitely get all smaller plates.

Wow! We had a great meal last night, we didn’t get the $39 deal, just picked stuff to share, 3 Bao, 2 pork belly and 1 chicken (the chicken was so delicious, unfortunately the pork belly was overcooked, the crackle was perfect but the meat quite chewy but the flavour did save it and we dipped it i the sauce that came with the spring rolls which made it better. Next time I’d get the chicken again for sure! Whatever was on it tasted amazing! And yeah we got the spring rolls which was prob my favourite thing of the lot! I’m still thinking about them now. The Real Gin Shady cocktail was so good and the Xpress Yoself was like a cocktail dessert! So good, not too sweet despite the condensed milk. Def would go back! Like to try other stuff! But hands down get the spring rolls!

Amazing! We are from South Gippsland and come down to Melbourne just for the amazing food. The food did not disappoint! Absolutely incredible flavours, super generous servings (we did the $39 per person banquet) and for 2 people it was super filling! Lovely staff. Cocktails are reasonably priced and delicious! Best pork belly we’ve ever had- Super juicy and moist with the crispiest crackling ever! We sat outside and weren’t cold at all with the outdoor heaters on. Had an overall great vibe and seemed to be very popular and busy! Couldn’t fault this venue at all. We will definitely be back! 5 stars!

So much vegetarian and vegan options. And they all tasted so good. The banquet is very very filling and let's you try a variety of things at a very reasonable cost. It is actually too much food for most people. But I loved the cosy feel, the friendly staff and the tasty food.

Favourite restaurant ever. The food is AMAZING! Great range on the menu, and flexible for dietary requirements. Staff are lovely too! Have been here multiple times and would highly recommend

Food is always amazing. Especially the chicken curry and the soft shell bao buns. Can be a little bit noisy if you don't have a booth but nice and intimate if you do.

The food tastes fantastic, but both myself and my friend ended up with pretty severe food posioning.

Otherwise it's a pretty location, very loud so it's hard to have a conversation and relatively affordable

Everything was so great! The food was so so good and it came on time! There were no long waits at all, and the drinks were great too. The staff was also really helpful and pleasant. I’m definitely coming back for more!

Tasty and superb flavours. An Asian fusion for the senses. Friendly staff and great cocktails. Went on a Monday and wasn’t disappointed.

We dined on the night Melbourne came out of lockdown and the service and food was amazing. I don’t always write reviews but we really appreciated that on a night that could have been really tough with capacity limits and limited staff, the experience here was perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was quick, hot and delicious and we had some amazing cocktails. Thank you!

We had our end of year staff party here, it was a last minute booking for 10 and they were even able to bump us up to 12 late notice!
Baby Got Banquet was a fantastic selection of food, the vegetarians in our group were very well catered for.
There was almost too much for the table!
Staff were lovely, very helpful and service was very prompt.

What a gem of a restaurant. Food was amazing, atmosphere amazing, service was amazing and the staff Fantastic.
