Staff were friendly and prompt.the drinks are fun and interesting, although on the pricey side.the atmosphere is very cool and they have done a great job with the decor

Loved the cocktails at this place. Totally worth the money paid. It was not only an experience but tasted great too.
The way the place is set up is a story book theme, loved the decor and ambience.
Really happy that my friend found this place else I hadn’t heard about it any where.

Highly recommend for anyone looking to try a new bar. I love this place and make a point to spend a night here every time I visit Melbourne.

The earlier to mid night vibe is my favourite, as the music, the crowd, the environment, and the unique drinks all seem to blend so well together. The later the hour the wilder the crowd gets.

All the wait staff and bartenders were super friendly and over the top caring and was pleasantly surprised by their attention to detail.

I've been to storyville a few times, my best memories of the place are when it's been quiet.on the the weekend, with the right crowd it can be a banger of a place to visit, but the quiet nights, the week days, that's when it becomes the fairy tail location it has the capacity to be.

Just such incredible staff and so nice, the drinks were incredible and the theme was amazing. Totally recommend to anyone looking to try a new bar!

Booked in to Storyville last Saturday night for 2. Staff were all welcoming, friendly, enthusiastic and on-brand with the venue! I was especially impressed by their cocktails and appreciated their staff being knowledgeable about the menu and able to give recommendations. The venue itself is cosy and intimate - perfect for a date or one-on-one catch up! Would love the venue even more if they offered nibbles/snacks to accompany the beverages. 10/10 regardless! Will be taking friends to Storyville in the future!

Great atmosphere and delicious themed cocktails. Not so keen on the bar staff. They are pretty hit 'n' miss when it comes to friendliness and enthusiasm.

Great atmosphere, fantastic drinks menu (though the cocktail in the pot plant was a surprise at first!), and friendly, helpful staff! Can be crowded during peak times but not overwhelmingly so, and we were still able to snag a table

An awesome venue and amazing cocktails. Had a great night there on Friday and In particular would like to shout out Jess who served us and looked after us. She was friendly and incredibly helpful all night

I really do like this venue as a concept and the decor is naturally stunning, and your theatrical cocktails are marvelous and exotically bespoke.however the persona of the bar you have created seems to be de-synced (subjectively). The music is don't get me wrong bangers, but loud, which for someone who has just spent 55 dollars on two drinks at a small table for two, seems a bit janky, by all means pep up the vibe but I'm not sure if it's intimate unique cocktail bar. Or just an expensive place to listen to pony by Ginuwine.

(Still love tho's kooky cocktails tho)

Nicely decorated bar. Cocktails are very expensive, drinks are the normal amount of expensive lol.
Mostly annoyed that I booked a table for a friends birthday and nowhere on the booking did it say we only had 2 hours.
Not worth going to a bar for only 2hrs but maybe other people don’t mind.

Very interesting place with a great selection of themed cocktails that all sounded amazing! Great atmosphere and music! Was difficult to find a table/space but was worth the wait for it.

It looks like if the management is being racist. I’ve been asking for the pictures from 8th March labours day and I haven’t got any response yet, neither the pictures have been uploaded on any social media.

The bar staff are always pleasant and they have some really unique cocktails worth trying. It's also oddly unique.

The decor of this bar is like walking into a fairy tale scene. If you like mushrooms and fungi, this is the place for you. Music wasn't particularly loud that night, so it was easy enough to chat to friends without screaming. There is an extensive and unique cocktail selection on offer. The Golden Snitch and Butterbeer cocktails were very nice. Service was also very good and happy to suggest cocktails based on flavour preferences.

We booked in advance and chose to sit outside. However, little did we know, 'outside' is in the alleyway outside of the bar and has a completely different drinks menu to the actual inside bar - there was nothing at all mentioned about this when booking! There was only 4 cocktails on the menu for outside - all of which were underwhelming. Given that the decor and cocktail menu is the whole reason people coming to Storyville, this was very disappointing.

I asked the lady who greeted us about moving inside and that we had booked for the cocktails that were only available inside. She advised she would get 'Felix' to move us inside and to just wait for him - she also tried to persuade me to order a cocktail from outside, saying the drinks were lovely outside. Kind of missing the point but I was glad to hear we would be moved shortly.

20 minutes go past and still no one has approached us and everytime the lady at the front makes eye contact with me, she looks away quickly. At the same time, people were being let in inside without bookings.

We left without ordering anything and were left with a sour, disappointed taste in our mouths.

Beware - outside is completely different from inside. Don't plan your night out around going to Storyville unless you want to be left disappointed and frustrated.

Good atmosphere but could do with a better DJ and some base with the music. Drinks are over priced. Felt cheated when the barman used 1 redbull to do 3 Jager bombs and had redbull still left in the can.

This is a place you should absolutely visit, even if you only do it once. The inside is so great to look at and it's a lot of fun

This is a great place to grab a drink and enjoy as the bar is open till Sunday morning. It participates in comedy festival. Nice romantic mushroom setup, good collection of cocktails, friendly staff, and packed with people.
