Story House Early Learning Epping

Story house, Epping is a wonderful place for work, very supportive and helpful team, even head office is caring for their employees wellbeing and also developing their employees professional skills with educational pds and workshops. Always acknowledge for hard work and potential of career growth. I can simply say, Story house is the best place for work and its my privilege to be the part of such an amazing team.

Both my kids has been brought up in that centre and it’s amazing to see both my kids so confident. Tina and Gladys are doing amazing work as my son Ashton recently has started learning how to write his name and drawings, coloring etc. Good to see my son gives his best effort and learning things. Thank you

My son loves being part of the Story house team. He adores his teachers, especially Tina. She and the other room 7 educators are doing excellent job teaching the kids life values.

My children have been attending Storyhouse for over 3yrs now and it has been a very welcoming centre. My oldest in room 6, he was not very social or eating much but Prashanna and the educators in room 6 have been amazing in building a great relationship with my son, involving him in activity and trying their best to ensure that my son eats. I am happy to say that now my son eats and is part of activity to extend his learning and development. They are always updating us with photos of what my son did or ate which I love For that I thank all the educators from room 6. I also like to extend my gratitude to all the educators in room 3 where my son is at, his been attending the centre since last year. His educators have been very amazing, they have established a really lovely bond, His always coming home and saying new words which makes me very happy.they always involve him in activities and ensuring that he eat. Thank you very much room 3 educators. Also the management team who work closely with us to ensure that we get the best service. They are very professional

I did my placements at this place. The staff and the atmosphere was very friendly and helpful. I fully recommend everyone for their kids.

I like story house epping center. My son learn so many things. He like playing indoor and outdoor.very well organised. There management and staff was absolutely gem. Very Co-operate and very understanding.

I feel that story house for my daughter is home away from home, the educators and management are very professional and understand you and your child which helps in the kind of upbringing you want for them. I recommend Story House Epping any day for your little one.

The staff members are all very friendly and my child enjoys with everyone. They are very patient as well. It's been only few weeks we are in this center and i hope so that our positive experience we have had so far won't change.

My son has attended this childcare for over 2 years and is not the easiest child, however so much time, care and effort has been put into him in all his classes since the beginning. He now enjoys his time there and adores the lead educators!

Storyhouse has been a very welcoming centre. We have been enrolled in the centre for over a year now.
Being in the room 6, Prashanna and Ramandeep have been great educators. Building friendships with him and his friends, making the days he attends fun and are always involved with extending his learning which makes us feel so happy, knowing he is so happy!

Good childcare and professional. Kellie along with the educators especially Kamal, Lydia, Preeti, stepanie are very professional and responsive.

My son has been at story house epping for about 6 months now & ive been super happy! He has bonded so well with kamal & Apoorva & I know he's well looked after when I go to work. The centre is also very clean & always has fun things set up for the kids.

Great childcare, great educators. My daughter is attending the Center since last December and she is happy with everything. Thanks a lot to everyone!

My Son has been going to Story House for over 3 years now. We are very pleaaed with the professionalism of the team. Teachers are very knowledgable and great with Kids. Whole premises is well maintained and very well looked after. Large outdoor play area for kids.

We changed from family daycare to Story House Epping at the start of this year and our 2 year old daughter has changed so much, her speech has come so far in such a small amount of time, her social skills are amazing.

Story House Epping has been the best thing for us. The educators are always updating me with how she is going, they have done amazing with toilet training.

I'm so greatful for the centre and all the educators.

My first impressions of Story House were lovely, we met the Director and she was very attentive, genuine and accommodating during our tour and orientation. Our child enjoyed the centre during orientation but then when it came to full days we had some separation issues, this was our first experience with strangers & childcare, it was expected.
The staff were understanding and trying to give a little extra care seeing us so on edge when we would have to leave. Unfortunately there was crying and screaming at drop off and pick up, but we were reassured when we weren't there our child was fine (besides the fact of not eating and drinking - but that could be worked on)

That's as much positives as i can remeber about our experience, I don’t know when things started to spiral during our 2.5 months attendance here.
The original director was on her way out and children were coming back from COVID restrictions, which understandably threw things out of whack a little. I asked for updates via the Storypark app and was reassured week after week that lots of pictures were taken and they would go up soon. We saw our child in pictures on 3 occasions. The ‘Nap/Food offered Chart’ was uploaded frequently but we were told at pick ups he didn’t eat or sleep.
Once children started coming back from restrictions lifting our child was moved into a different room without us being informed, as you can imaging we were very distressed at this point, this didn’t make things any better. The new director assured us if we came in we would have a nice sit down and get to know the educators. We were greeted with ‘oh yeah, I've seen your son before how can I help? ’ no idea who this person was and not how we expected that to go. So we left for the day.with so many changes are more children coming back to childcare, our child was bound to get sick which did happen. So we decided to keep our child at home, after some talk we decided to withdraw from childcare and start fresh the next year. Spoke to the new director over the phone asking if I needed to come in or do anything, if the subsidies would still remain etc.was told everything will be fine, nothing needed from us.
Here we are 1.5 months after we have left SHEL and we see a charge from them. Emailed and called with no response. So I kept trying until I got a hold of someone. We were advised it was Centrelink adjusting their books. So I called Centrelink. Centrelink told me that I needed to attend the last day for me to get the subsidy and asked if my attendances were correct. We discovered our child was marked attending for a day he wasn’t there. Called back SHEL and was pretty much told I should have known it was in my information pack, its not something they are required to tell me again.

So I would like to stress for future attendees to SHEL; READ THE WHOLE PACK, make sure you understand EVERYTHING because its apparently not the childcare's responsibility to remind you of these things or to make sure you saw it. Don’t expect too many photos. Your child gets what is served otherwise there is crackers as a replacement.

On the bright side we now attend another more suitable childcare without a tear shed and instead of clinging to us and screaming our child now walks in, knocks on the door, says bye to us and is happy at pickup.

Lovely place for our little Aslan. We just few weeks ago moved from city to Epping and was lucky to discover this day care, staff is very friendly and our little one is starting to like the new day care️.
We were previously attending the Guardian Child Care in the city and looks like transitioning is smooth ️big thanks to the educators and Kellie.
