Stone's Throw Cottage Belgrave Accommodation reviews
8This was the second time my mother and I stayed at this lovely cottage and again thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Margaret is a wonderful host and the cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is large with a bath and separate toilet. The room is very old world with a cosy feel. It is a short walk to the shopping centre, restaurants and Puffing Billy. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to the Dandenongs.
Luxury but down to earth lovely place to stay. Awesome linen on the bed and attention to detail everywhere. Just what we were looking for but so much better
Stayed here with my fiancé for two nights. It has a wonderful vibe deep in the Dandenong Ranges and Margret was very welcoming and made us feel like we were at home.
Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a romantic getaway, or even just to find some peaceful solitude.
We stayed at Stones Throw Cottage for one night for a wedding nearby. We were both extremely disappointed by the room. The bed was small, too much crammed into the space and $180 a night was far too expensive for what it is. Certainly wouldnt recommend this to anyone.
My family had a lovely two-night stay in this cottage in August 2010. The cottage was nicely furnished and well-maintained, the owner very friendly and welcoming. Only a short walk from Belgrave and Puffing Billy, Stones Throw Cottage makes an excellent base from which to explore the beautiful Dandenong Ranges and I heartily recommend it.
My mother and I recently stayed at this delightful cottage. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. There were special little touches everywhere which made you feel special. Very quiet and tranquil and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend. Karen Nance.
We stayed here for a night on 19 Nov 2008 (family of 2A & 2C). This is a very private and cozy cottage. The place was clean and the beds comfortable. My kids were so excited about the loft beds and the cockatoos and kookaburra that flew into the balcony. The breakfast basket provided was simple but sufficient and healthy to our likings. The Owner, Margaret was very thoughtful and helpful and she really made us feel at home. The location was great.near to shops and the Belgrave Puffing Billy Station. Could not have asked for more.
