Beautiful accommodation. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast, red wine and chocolate by the fire. Lovely weekend away. Lovely scenery.

If you choose any other accommodation when visiting Dayelsford you're doing yourself a disservice! Ann and Sean were impeccable hosts who's charming bed and breakfast was impeccably clean and well appointment. They made us feel right at home and we're looking forward to our next stay at Stone and Straw.

Really nice place. The staff were amazing they showed us the rooms and even had the fire going by the time we got there. It's a perfect place to stay for a romantic getaway and just relax. Rooms had everything we needed including splits system air-con/heating. The rooms were nicely sized and the bathroom even had heated floors.
Would highly recommend it to anyone and we will definitely be coming back.

Great little bnb. Really cosy and homely feeling. The hosts Anne and Sean are lovely people and make your stay that more memorable. It's a close drive into town for the variety of baths and spa to choose from. It also has a walking track to the local Chocolate Mill. The grounds and facilities are well maintained with dashes of artwork throughout the local plants. We'll definitely look to Stone & Straw when we visit the region again.

The massage service is amazing. Just had a mini facial/massage and am feeling sublime, so relaxed and will definately be back for another

Beautiful little spot. The hosts' were incredible. A Humble, helpful, lovely couple, who out on a FANTASTIC small Family Xmas function for 3 separate families. It was an absolute pleasure to have been able to share this day, in such a nice, quiet and secluded spot. They went out of their way to accommodate each and every person. 4/5 all round rating. This is a beautiful, quiet and peaceful property. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean, and Anne and Sean are a delight. The supplied breakfast was a highlight as was the happy hour in the cafe room where we sat and nibbled lovely things, drank wine and talked with our hosts and another guest.
They have their own cafe exclusively for guests and yet it still feels small and intimate rather than hotel-like.
Stone and straw is only a few minutes from Hepburn Springs and Daylesford, but is in a lovely, quiet bushland setting with many birds populating the pretty gardens.
Highly recommended.

Would recommend for a small family or a a romantic getaway. With cosy snugs and warm fire places, plus a babysitting service if needed, it really is the place to have a break from the day to day grind.

If I could put 6 stars I would. Sean and Anne are wonderful hosts, ready and welcoming with any requests or questions. They went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable and effortless as possible.

Note: Just bare in mind the entrance to the retreat can sneak up you, so I'd recommend arriving in day light.

I cannot praise Anne and Sean and their beautiful home anymore highly than I have.
They were very helpful when it came to where to eat and drink, and also what activities to do in the area!
The house is surrounded by peaceful gardens and native trees but also close enough to nature walks and Hepburn Springs.

My recent stay at Stone & Straw was outstanding! My parter Jessica and I spent three lovely days amongst nature, spring water and lovely walks. Stone & Staw is perfect for a quick trip into either Daylsford or Hepburn Springs. Will definitely be back

The host are amazing, very friendly and cooperative. Anne helped me to organise surprises for my husband’s birthday and made a cake by herself which was amazing.
I would highly recommend this place and would love to come back.
