Stix Restaurant & Bar

I have no idea why you would come here over Eltham Hotel. Unless you just enjoy spending 3 times as much money. The food is exactly the same. Eltham Hotel is just a little further down the road. Go there instead!

Definitely would not recommend Stix restaurant regardless of the new owners.

Dined in at the restaurant at 7: 10pm to which the restaurant was not busy at this time, perhaps half full if that.

Our meals were ordered shortly after arriving as well as some drinks. Our drinks took at least 20 minutes after ordering to arrive (Only Beers & Soft Drink).

Our meals then did not come out until 8: 45, the steaks coming out without it's sides. The waiter advised that the sides were coming however the table finished their steaks before the sides even came out. The steaks were overcooked.

All meals but one persons came out at once. The one missing meal did not come out until 9: 20 pm to which the whole table had then finished their meals by this time waiting on the one person to even start eating.

In this time more beers were ordered however also took the 35 minutes to come out, having to remind the staff 3 times. 3 Free beers were offered for this however nothing for the one meal was offered as the person was driving and could not accept an alcoholic beverage.

The meals were average and given the price the service was beyond horrible.

Will definitely not be returning nor recommending this restaurant to anyone.
