Steve Bennett Hi-Fi

Although I didn't have a solution, Steve Bennett contacted others who might have helped me.

I’ve been shopping at Steve Bennett’s since 1979, and I bought my first speakers there which are still used as my primary music speakers. The service at Bennett is excellent, and on the exceptionally rare occasion of equipment failure, Ken has always delivered a repair solution.

Should have written this review years ago. Ken (Bennett) is the real deal.lives and breathes all things hifi and has accumulated a wealth of knowledge. Ken won't try to sell the most expensive brands.he sells the best-value brands. Highly recommended!

Loved it, walked in thinking it was an average looking place and not expecting much, left after being treated superbly and in a normal and human manner with exactly what I wanted. Cannot praise the place more highly.
If you want audio equipment do yourself a favour and check them out.

Yesterday I bought the new Luxman flagship integrated amplifier (L509x) from Steve Bennett Hi Fi in Geelong. Fantastic service from Ken, who delivered it and set it up. Ken offered us an unbeatable price which was considerably less than any of the Melbourne Hi Fi retailers.
Ken will beat anyone on quality, service and price. Loving this new amp. The sound is amazing.

Ken came to our house at short notice last Saturday and provided extremely professional, courteous, efficient and knowledgeable service in getting our music system operational following our move from Melbourne. He has also assisted in facilitating further assistance for work outside the realm of what he does which we greatly appreciate.

We consider Ken displays the type of customer service we all long for - but unfortunately don't always receive.

Ken is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about all things HiFi.
Not only did he help me tailor a system that allowed me to get the best possible result for my budget. He also had the patience to spend a good 3 hours showing me countless speaker and amplifier combos while teaching me about the benefits of various systems and designs.
An enjoyable afternoon and one of the best retail experiences I've had in ages.

Want to get your latest sound gear. You really have to talk to Ken. A wealth of knowledge and just down to earth.

Went in to fix this gentleman's roller door. Left with a Tivoli Radio. Knowledge and passion for his hifi is second to none

Over the last thirty years I have personally talked to hundreds of customers of this Geelong institution. It's fair to say that their private reports to me have rarely been anything other than praiseworthy in extremis. I would recommend anyone in the area who needs help with their audio or video system to give Bennetts a call!

Knowledgable dude, I can listen to this guy talk for hours. His energy and passion is so strong.

Been dealing with Ken @ Steve Bennett Hifi for a few years now. He is an absolute gentleman with plenty of knowledge and doesnt BS or try to jam products not suitable for you. Like what happens in stores in Melbourne. SBHIFi service is far superior. Find out yourself!
