I have been going to this butcher for 3 years. Recently the owner kindly helped organise a pistola and half a lamb. The meat was of excellent quality and the service provided was wonderful. We will be coming back here. I definitely recommended!

Purchased some average lamb cutlets yesterday 15th Jan, and they were right next to the seafood section of the display fridge, is this cross contamination or the norm in eltham? Cutlets were paper thing, more bone than meat
I bought some meat there a few years ago and was happy. On the third visit I asked for some matching fillets and he just threw whatever in a bag. Had not been back until today. He got 'whatever' from his cooler rather than selling what was in the case, prices are high unless you buy bulk, and a surcharge for using a card with a 'please use contactless' printed on the receipt. Otherwise meats were good, but probably won't be a customer again.
Noting the kind reply, the eye fillets were from the case. One nice one and one end piece; different sizes because of significantly different shapes. Whoever served me just grabbed whatever from the case but I trusted some effort, until I got home and ready to prepare. I am not confusing anybody's business. The receipt with 'Please use Contactless! ' just under the surcharge amount (your right to do) has your business name and address (RA and D Stephens, 128 Bolton Street Eltham Vic 3095) up top and you take cards (looked like pay-wave (tm) evidenced by my receipt. Being dismissive this is about your business is curious.
