Called ahead to ask about machine repair and was told to bring it in but when I came to the shop the person working the desk barely looked at it and didn't even turn it on. Person working the desk was rude and borderline hostile on the phone and in person.

Last year I bought a coverpro 2000cpx, they matched the cheaper price I found elsewhere, and delivered it no extra charge. I thought because of lockdown. But no Today I bought a new overlocker delivered by 5pm. No extra charge. Matched the cheaper price again too.fantastic service from Franco, and her boss delivered it personally to me.

Bought the Janome FD216 for a good price and it was promptly delivered the next day. Emailed twice regarding the free machine lesson and the BONUS WITH EVERY MACHINE. No response until I called. Bonus is a reel of thread (wasn’t supplied with that and no information offered how i would receive that - and person asked first what machine I bought before they let me know that I would get one reel of thread) and the lesson I could come into the shop after I have tried out the machine. Could have had a fabulous bonus pack with other companies for the same machine. So will not recommend. Had hoped a local store would appreciate that we chose them rather than purchase from large company.

Great ordering and delivery service at a competitive price. However, choose carefully, I purchased a Janome 400e for Christmas and subsequently I had to return it. It was unused, other companies charged 10%, these guys won't negotiate from 25%. They didn't believe it was an unwanted gift. The fellow I spoke with said, regards my attempts to negotiate, that they charged that much because they can! Now that’s very poor customer service! I paid $100 to return it and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Use the Queensland sewing Centre.

Purchased janome 644D about 2 years ago prompt delivery of machine today threads were jamming up called shop and was advised how to fix this! Very helpful

Tryed to rip me off $70 for 20 blind stitch needles.
Real cost $3: 50 a pack of 10.
You lost my business and everyone else that I can tell.

It was a great online shopping experience! I couldn’t guess it was there already when I heard the knocking on the front door. My husband ordered it for me lunch time and it was delivered 6: 30pm on same day. I just couldn’t believe it lol.
And he gave me some nice advice about the product too. Highly recommend!

Bought Janome DC2050 on Saturday night and it was delivered the next day on a Sunday by the owner. Was so impressed by fast and personal delivery, not to mention that I was given a 15 min courtesy call which was really helpful so I didn't miss the delivery. The gentlemen who delivered my sewing machine also informed me of lessons/tutorials which are available

Avoid the disappointment of being ripped off while dealing with the rude, incompetent people who work here.

I bought a sewing machine from this store through Kogan Marketplace but the machine I wanted, a Janome, wasn't available. They asked me to accept an Elna instead, plus some other products to make up for the lower price of the alternate machine.

Unfortunately, it wasn't up to the task for which I was buying it, so I complained and happily they refunded my money after I posted the Elna back.

This is a great place with really friendly staff who know their job well. I was allowed to play with the machines in an unhurried way, tho they were busy. Any and all questions were answered well and I ended up with a good deal. Highly recommend them for anything to do with sewing machines.

I searched the internet and Statewide had the best price on the model I was after. It was successfully delivered to Brisbane in 2 business days of ordering. Great price and great service.

Paid 150.00 to fix machine, my bobbin cover would not close, rendering machine unusable, i left large note asking for bobbin cover to be repaired, got machine back, complete with unusable bobbin cover.hopeless service, sent it back again with verbal explanation of bobbin cover not repaired, but again, not repaired.rip off hopeless and false advertising.they will not repair machine, go elsewhere.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR MACHINES HERE FOR SERVICING! I BEG YOU!
I've waited six months to post this review in the hopes that I'd get less upset about what happened, but I'm still heartbroken so here it is.
I took in my best machine for a service clean before a big job (three bridesmaid's dresses). It came back seemingly fine but developed a timing issue after about fifteen minutes of stitching.
I took it back no less than FOUR times. The first time the fellow tried to tell me it was my fault for "changing the needle" (what?). Every time I took it back it was the same issue: 10-20 minutes of perfection followed by a needle shattering in my face when the timing slipped out. Bandaid solution after bandaid solution and never bothered to look for any underlying causes.
The final time I took it back I noticed that they'd lost the little thread hook for over the needle. The lady told me that it couldn't be replaced because that part isn't made anymore, but it "doesn't matter because you don't need it anyway".
I ended up finishing my bridesmaid's dresses on a borrowed machine, and my once-best sewing machine is still a brick to this day.

Don't make my mistake. Don't take your machines here.

Bought in an old sewing machine to see if it worked and possibly purchase a foot pedal.
Up sold me on everything wanted to charge me $250 all up. Rang the sewing machine place in moonee ponds and they were happy to test it for free and charge $70 for a foot pedal. Definitely look elsewhere as they are way overpriced.
