Statesman Motor Inn

We booked the executive room which had a nice renovated bathroom and incorporated a tiny kitchenette with microwave. The room was clean, bed comfy, pillows not so. Service at reception was welcoming. One thing to keep in mind is its opposite the freight railway line which could disturb a light sleeper but didn't bother me.

Had two rooms booked here very warm and comfortable. Julie was a delightful and very accommodating. Will definitely stay again.

Cheap motor Inn with free car parking,
Breakfast can be ordered in a room, inside the Motel has a small restaurant for breakfast and dinner, Easy check in and check out.
Also there is a Small play ground for childrens.

Loved spending the night there as the room was beautiful and even though it was the last room the owner didn’t try to charge extra money or something and gave us on the same price as online, loved the ease of checking in and out

Rooms had been renovated so where nice shower pressure was average.
Had breakfast in bed wasn't to bad

Been a lot of work updating the rooms but they should supply ear plugs or double glazing.
Very noisy rail and road traffic at night.

Had Electricity shortage in the middle of the night. Located right next to main road, my room facing the road, very noisy during day and night, felt hard to sleep. The socket next to bed is not working.

Nice motel for a short short stay, clean rooms and good service.

Staying in a room with a double and a single bed for $160pn.

On arrival the staff at the front desk efficient and friendly.

The room was hard to open. Had to push the handle up and turn the key.

Immediately you walk into a mini room with the cupboard, fridge and bathroom style sink.

To the right is the bathroom, which is nice and modern.

Through a beat up door is the bedroom. The door cant open all the way because of the single bed, which explains why its a bit beat up.

The TV has limited channels and has a foxtel box attached. Unfortunately the only foxtel channels available are TV shopping network all other channels are locked. The tv was also dirty, weird.

The beds matresses are very hard and pillows are very flat and um.well used.
There was a piece of glass in the single bed.

The room overall is very clean and smells lovely which is a nice touch.

We booked this place last minute. It was located in a perfect place not far from Woolworths and restaurants. Not so far from Grampians too. Bed is so comfy and other amenities were great too. Thank you for the stay!

Very happy with our room! Bathroom has rails all round, which is great when you are disabled. Walk-in shower is another plus. Just a pity vanity is not in bathroom or maybe a shelf to put things on when taking a shower. Room very clean. Beds comfortable.

We stayed in room 15, it was beautifully decorated and very clean, the gardens were were superb, loved the stay.

Best Motel in Ararat, beautiful gardens, and owners are above friendly, clean. Free wifi.tv microwave, air-conditioning and heating, outside playground for children, could not ask for a better place to stay in Ararat.

More modern interior than expected - a pleasant surprise. Hosts were very gracious in allowing a late check out after a morning running event. Would go back if going to Ararat again.

Renovated room. Well placed power points for charging phones etc. Helpful owners. Meet our expectations and better than most units of this type we have used recently.
