State Basketball Centre reviews
34Nice facilitiy, but ridiculously strick about bringing your own basketball to a basketball centre.
State Basketball or state of the art, well after seeing Lauren Jackson walk out I class it as the art of basketball great complex, with the one next door under construction to help build many more to walk through the doors like the best ever in ladies basketball Australia Lauren Jackson.
Irrational lack of lighting at night thoughout the car park. Bring your own snacks for WNBL games - the line for food/snacks/drinks was always 20+ mins long. Needs a re-vamp.
Was great! Easy to find. Easy to navigate through despite being a very busy event. Great facilities. Optimal viewing of the main court.
Good clean venue. George Street gets quite busy at the end of game times so sometimes it's easier to park at the back side of the stadium. Undergoing extension works at the moment which will more than double the number of courts. Great having a facility like this so easy to access.
Building works limited the parking on a recent visit, and no outdoor lighting either. Needs better lighting and a parking attendant to direct traffic on a busy Saturday night.
Awesome Basketball Centre. 6 basketball courts and also a show court with seating for 3200 spectators.
Great place to see high profile basketball coaches like Mr Andrew Gaze. Pity he was the opposition.
It's where your BB dream's can start, or just have fun.
Easy to get too, plenty of parking, a great facilty.
A large basketball venue with 6 basketball courts. The staff managing admissions as well as the food counter are all very friendly and helpful.
Regular basketball competitions allow a myriad of opportunities for players, spectators and referees alike to be involved in and around the game of basketball.
The venue is also the home of the South East Melbourne Phoenix NBL team
Easy to get, parking a breeze, kiosk line moved quickly and my team is winning so this place goes alright.
Great place to watch nbl games. Local venue for the South East Melbourne Phoenix. Enjoyed the game for Phoenix vs NZ Breakers.
Great stadium still confusing being in knox and knox stadium in boronia starts arguments very Saturday on where we going, tho good facilities.
Disappointing. It was not the premium centre I expected, although the seats were OK and the court view quite good. Facilities generally were of a standard I'd expect in an ordinary suburban venue. And do t expect to leave quickly. There's no public transport of note in the area and one road in and out.
Facilities were state of the art, alas the young referee employed that umpired my game had an attitude problem.
Good clean facilities. Great environment for Phoenix games and lots of space for recreational rounds
Amaxing faciltiy. Amazing courts to officiate on. Canteen has some amazing food to offer. (Cook fries a lil longer please)
Casual shooting is well priced.
Tons of parking with no fee and or time restraints. Seconds off the Eastlink it's also well located.
This arena is amazing to go to. The sound and atmosphere that it creates lives within you til you go next, my son "JAMES the Sly SILVER wrestled there and I enjoyed the night so much 10/10
Great venue for basketball lots of parking available.just annoying when gymnastics uses the best 3 courts forcing basketball to use the courts on the far side of the facility
