We had an extremely stressful several months from first contact with the police to receiving formal charges. During that time I made contact with a law firm that was ranked in the top 5 of Doyle's list.
There was very little interest, and no follow up from them after I sent some initial paperwork. This added to our stress and we continued to feel that we were in this alone.

My name is Ahmet and I wanted to share my experience with this firm with my appeal in County court.

The solicitor that was looking after my case was Andrew Halphen, I found Andrew to be approachable, non-judgemental and transparent and always available to answer any of my concerns.

Choosing the right lawyer is equal to one of the biggest life decisions you can make because it can drastically change the course of your life. You can’t afford to learn from experience however in my circumstance I did and I changed solicitors twice in Magistrates court before hiring Stary Norton Halphen for my County court appeal.

I was charged with no shred of evidence and was found guilty and convicted on three charges for a crime I did not commit. I approached Stary Norton Halphen for the appeal. To me, the case was about morals, ethics and integrity. The charges I was found guilty of at Magistrates court was threats over the phone, common assault and menacing behaviour in a public place.

All of the charges I was found guilty in Magistrates court were overturned in County court. I was awarded costs for Magistrates and County court and this is due to my legal team, Sharon Lacy and Lucinda Thies representing me with commitment and dedication. This legal firm will not offer any legal support more interested helping police get convictions than having any concerns regarding client as for items of yours that you need back refusing to hand over believing they can still work for you when they aren't if you don't have money or if you look different they will prejudge you if they don't like look of you you are not worth helping as they are more interested in people with money stay right away from this firm more concerned with lining pockets than clients considering the royal commission into lawyers and the way they conduct themselves as lawyers barristers all of them got a full dress down regarding their actions either they are completely stupid or been under a rock the whole time hiding.
