Starbox Noodle & Sushi

Tried first time.tasted yummy noodles and fried rice and had a sufficient amount of food as well.clean and neat packaging. Worth for the money and must try.

Me and my partner literally love this place. We always come here if we want some good takeaway and the food is delicious. They never failed us.

Sushi didn't taste fresh at all, even at 12pm. Tasted very low quality. Not much variety either. Also has minimum $15 card spend, would not recommend.

I have found Star Box Lakeside to be the most consistent and tasty chinese food in all of Pakenham, I have had it 5-6 times now, ordered different food each time and have found the price and quality very good. I would highly recommend the Star Xox Fried Rice or Singapore Noodles being my favourite of sll the dishes I have tried from there.

Bit Oily & a little flat on flavour but the dishes are standard. Customer service is excellent but the interior needs a shake-up. Let’s break it down…

Atmosphere: ***
Little apprehensive when you enter the store. The service area seems well present however, the display cases and (indeed) the clearly visible kitchen seems disorganised and haphazardly thrown together. The internal décor looks like it needs to be updated and so does the kitchen. This is definitely a take-away food restaurant as there is only 2 couple seats which appear to be more for waiting customers than anything else. A refresh of this store would probably re-energise this business.

It was incredibly welcoming and certain had that family run business feel. Was greeted with a very warm smile and my order was taken expertly & professionally. Had a great fun chat with the representative about the food but above that, there was a really wholesome feel. Very well done.

Food (Why we are here) : ***
Was a little disappointing, only because both dishes were a bit too oily, and a little flat in flavour. Definitely order and pick-up with the restaurant, Menulog will charge you an extra $3 per dish.
Order: Char Kway Teow ($13.00) & Curry Laksa ($15.00) - $28.00
Char Kway Teow – Order the medium spice and (for me) it was very weak. The flavours felt a little flat and the oil seemed excessive. It did have a great mix of noodles & meats and it was all cooked perfectly.
Curry Laksa – The flavour was really nice but the oil was almost overwhelming. The dish was cooked very well, but the tofu was almost non-existent and very minimal veggies.

Overall: ***
I was really hoping this was one of those places that are a hidden treasure that serves that amazing dish, and I believe it could be, but not yet. If the oil was minimised, I genuinely believe this business will gain a much larger custom. Thank you, Star Box-Noodle & Sushi.

The Kent’s have been struggling without you guys for this two week break. Dad (a.k. A the laksa lover) claims withdrawals. We are counting down these last couple days!

I've had some doubts about the quantity and food, but hats off for the delicious food. The portion was more than enough for per person and good quality food. Homemade dim sim was top notch. Love it. Will be back again.

Asked for a vegan dish, they made me Singapore noodle box with tofu. Value for money 3 star, eftpos sur charge brings it down to 2 stars.

Ordered here loads of times and never had a problem always welcoming with friendly staff and delicious food. It’s great value for money. I recommend this place for something yummy to eat.

Absolute disgrace. First time using this cesspool. Ordered food via menu log. After an hour of waiting, rang restaurant. Got told driver has been delayed 45 more minutes but our food had been ready for 30 minutes. Asked for fresh to be cooked if it was going to be that long. They refused. We went and collected it. Soggy dim sums, with the paper stuck to it, noodles cold with very little meat and veggies and been sitting so long it was soaking through the box. Will never use this place again. Overpriced underperforming. Not a good experience at all

Not the best. The lemon chicken was delicious, but the Singapore noodles was filled with mostly cabbage and really really fatty pork, there was no mild curry sauce either, completely bland.

First time we ate from there and looks like we found our new go to noodle place, delicious the gentlemen that served us was really nice polite helpful

Alway good tasty meals here, been going here for years and alway consistent and made with fresh ingredients. Nasi goreng and Mongolian beef put together is a favorite of mine, they will make it as a main dish without noodles if asked, enough for lunch the next day as well. Original Staff still here for years and still going strong. Great food. Thanks again

Most meals are 10 dollars, but miminum EFT is 15 dollars or a surcharge. Fried dim sims were waved over hot oil. Almost pan fried. Asked for no veggies and was lucky to find 6 pieces of meat in total. Never again.

If you say you're opening at 11am, then open at 11am! Business missed. Went to Frankie's which was amazing and OPEN!

I had the Singapore Noodles from here, and they were reasonably priced and the prawn crackers were good. Not the best noodles I've had but definitely reasonable. The place could've been slightly cleaner but it wasn't too bad. I'd go here again for sure.

I love their noodles.only $10 for most of their their rice is okay with being outstanding. Very nice people too
