Easy to deal with. This is a cheaper rental company therefore the van reflected this. Some cosmetic damage on outside, reverse camera non existent, inside the van floor was torn up making it difficult to move items. It drove ok apart from lack of power especially going up hill and the engine light was on all the time.

I highly recommend using star rentals for your next vehicle hire needs.

I have been renting a van nearly every single weekend for my business for over a year now. I can't speak highly enough of Bally from Star Rentals.

I have driven most of the vans he has available and I have never had any issues with them, they're all great! They are also SO well priced.

Not only are the vans great but Bally's customer service is unmatched. My schedule changes constantly and not once has he ever let me down (even when i forget to book one and he is fully booked out) he has a solution every single time that i have to make a change and is always so understanding. Needed a car urgently as mine had been in an accident. Star Rentals provided exceptional customer service, went out of their way to organize a (new) compact car for me when I told them I couldn't drive a big car, picked me up from the station due to no transport, and even offered me a bottle of water on a hot summers day! I was extremely pleased to see some good old customer service again! Thank you! I highly recommend Star Rentals and will definitely be back!

BEST deal in town, so much so I was willing to drive from Tullamarine to Dandenong to get our rental. Bally is amazing, honest & caring. He offered us his mobile number (during the Christmas holiday) in the event of any issues, which we had none! The van ran great we did a return trip from Melbourne/Gladstone/Melbourne. The van was comfortable & great on fuel & perfect for our needs.
Don't waste your time going anywhere else as you won't get a better deal great customer service & reliable vans, we definitely recommend to family & friends. Excess $5500 does it make any sense

I highly recommend Star rentals for anyone, even if they are new to Australia. The owner of the company itself personally came helped me transport furniture in to my rental property.
Long story short, you can trust the company no matter what because they are very experienced in handling any issue might come once you rent a vehicle from them.
(E.g.: Providing free uber to get back to Star rental if an unexpected issue comes, making sure you get the job done intended)

This service is really worst forever. When I rent the van really old and dirty, the staff only checked outside when I drove home I saw the barrier already missed the nail but he charged 50$. Hopefully people think 10 before used this service, for me this is the last time forever I used this service, I rated this service is the worst in Melbourne.

Long time customer and very disappointed with my last transaction. Will not be using again, and I would caution anyone who want to borrow the vans. They are very rough (fair enough, price is ok to put up with it) and may fall apart on your during your time and you'll get the blame. Owner admits the cars are rough because they get used, but cannot understand why it falls apart, doors not closing properly, fumes in the cabin etc.

Good car rental place, but last car I got there, I asked if there were any mechanical faults with the car. But unfortunately there were faults with it. And they said it needed a service when I took it back! And $200 per week for the car I got was too pricey.but will go there again due to its easiness of renting one without too many complicated ID requirements.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Star Rentals Dandenong provided easy online booking, hassle free pickup, and when I required to extend the rental period, nothing was too much problem.

Rented a 10+ year old van, and had no issues. They explained a couple of issues (a faulty hand break sensor, etc) and the van made multiple 120km round trips fully loaded without any issues. For the rental price this was a perfect coat effective solution.

Great to see old school customer service, highly recommend and will have them as my first choice for any future rental needs.

Never trust this rental service, cannot rely on them. I did book a van to transport my goods from one house to another way before the date and I organised movers and scheduled everything but star rental called me day before the event at 8.20pm to inform that they cannot give me a van since they don’t have any available. As per the conversation he said the van that I supposed to get is in Adelaide, which he knew way before that day that he cannot provide that van to me, but he wanted to inform me that at night where I didn’t have resources to find any other. He hung up the call while I was talking and didn’t treat me as a customer and also he never tried to arrange me a van from another vendor even to cover up their mistake. Which ended up paying 3* for a van last minute and faced lot of consequences. I don’t recommend these people since they cannot take a ownership or responsibility, you are just another customer only they don’t understand your important work you have to do.

Great experience. Very polite and understanding people. Needed a large van urgently and they accommodated all my needs eventhough the van was booked for later they let me have it till that time. Would definitely be renting again from them. Cheers

Literally awful, unroadworthy, gearbox in awful state, leaking fuel tank, bird poo and feathers inside vehicle uncleaned. Wasn't ready to go when we arrived. Awful service. Be weary when renting a vehicle from here

I just rented a van for a long trip from Star Rentals and I had a fantastic experience - The staff were very friendly and helpful, everything went smoothly, the vehicle was all prepared for me when I arrived and the rental rate was very reasonable. All in all great experience. Recommended.
