As far as the NDIS program, I would say I found some of their fees a bit excessive and exploitative of the NDIS ie charges for cancellation because of covid, emails, joint sessions etc

Occupational therapist was a nice guy but never followed through on the things he said he would and was very forgetful and stopped being helpful

Speech pathologists have a very negative view of autism and in my opinion quite outdated and they had a tendency to overstep what their roles as speech pathologists are

Even upon providing my feedback to someone who i guess is in charge of handling incidents, I had said that phone anxiety and didn’t want to talk on the phone I just wanted to provide my feedback to possibly help and leave the service and they were like insistent that we should book a phone call and we couldn’t discuss through email. I don’t know i could be reading too much into it but I thought it was off putting

I was seeing Sebastian here in 2017/2018 for counselling and he was so kind, patient and non judgmental. This was also at my peak of downward spiral; I was severely depressed, anxious and going through DV. I highly recommend seeing Sebastian for help.

This place office support for people struggling with addiction of heroin offering support program for the Stboxzone or monthly injections to stop opiate withdrawal.
I know in the past they had a methadone program from my own experience going from methadone to the monthly injection was Life saving no more judgement by pharmacist and not having to take a solution everyday to feel ok (normal)
staff a very caring and judgement free they do this job cos they care Benny monheit has more than 20 years experience addiction of heroin and goes beyond and above I know when you first started I meant Benny at the Alfred hospital and every time I was admitted to hospital he would always come check up to make sure I was ok.
Just want to say a big Thank you to the term star health you saved my life.
I so glad I found use in time.
Now I'm mother of it 20 year old and that wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for their support. 23 years CLEAN and never want to go back.

I had a great experience at Star Health. The staff were friendly, and the facilities were clean and modern. The counsellor Pamela, provided exceptional care and support, helping me overcome my health challenges. Thanks to Pamela and the team at Star Health, I feel more confident and empowered. Organised covid vaccination booking with my partner who has had 1 dose for an afternoon vaccination. Was given 5 week waiting time and one day before booking sends voicemails asking to change the time. When asked why time needed to be changed, was advised as requirement from DHHS. Upon calling DHHS was advised they have nothing to do with this centre. All this wasted a good hour of time on the phone. Subsequently was told no changes after another call. Morning of the vaccination was rung once more asking to change the time. When I said no changes can be made the booking was cancelled due to earthquake. This overall shows how poorly managed this centre is. Had other medical centres not accommodated my partner would have been outside the 6 week window for second vaccination. Continually calling and wasting everyone's time to change appointments at the last minute with fake excuses. Never again will I entertain such a poorly managed centre

This is by far, the worst experience I've had. I booked an appt through HotDoc today at 11.30am. I live in Abbotsford and because I don't have Medicare, this is pretty much the only option that I've got. Unfortunately.

I had everything ready. I made sure I filled in the required forms, I was there on time, not earlier nor later as per the website, I checked in with my QR code and more than ready to get the vaccine. As soon as I approached to the counter, the wearing a red jumper was absolutely rude. She was upset because she couldn't find my registration, which I did in advance to avoid any delays, but she didn't believe me. She pretty much treated me like if I was stupid and using a very patronising tone of voice, which made me feel really uncomfortable and upset.

After regrettably assessing my, she turned me away and cancelled my appointment because I wasn't eligible at this stage.

I am happy to wait but I am not willing to be treated in such aggressive and rude way.

You don't deserve one star, you deserve ZERO.

As an update, we did email through to Star Health only to receive a 3 line, poor response.
Don't attend this clinic for testing! This was our experience.
We arrived at 8.35 after checking to see what time you opened (I thought it was 8.30 but may have been mistaken?) and there were 3 people ahead of us. Your processes from then on are not only antiquated but definitely not efficient! The first person was taken in at 9.05 and then the next went shortly after.by the time we left it was after 9.30. There was only one staff member on doing the tests and over 100 people in the queue. The lady who was telling people to check-in didn't inform anyone how long the wait would be and just shrugged when we suggested it might be a nice idea. We personally spoke to a few people advising them to leave and go somewhere else.
What I'm sure is standard protocol, we were advised that results could take 24-48 hours but we knew that more often than not, that was quicker. At no point were we advised that you had to send all the tests away and then only received 'bulk' results back which would mean a delay! Subsequently, our neighbour (who was tested at 10am at the Albert Park drive through site), received her results at 10.30pm the same evening and another friend went to the Alfred also receiving results within 24 hours and yet we are still here, at 1.30pm with no results (we received the text at 1.44pm).

Was able to make a booking for a COVID test in Prahran via the hotdoc site only to be told they don't take bookings once turning up in person.

This is despite being sent multiple reminders confirming the booking via email. Complained directly on their website and they give a very weak response saying they're walk-in only on their website. Other clinics don't let you book for the covid test online. Pathetic explanation for lousy "service". Unacceptable during the pandemic especially.

My appointment with Dentist Dorna was great. Dr Dorna gave helpful advice, is professional & patient when explaining procedures and was reassuring me when I was concerned about pain. All staff are nice and great service. The dental practice is a little run down and a few flies buzzing in waiting area.

The Star Health Team running the COVID Vaccination site at Prahran Town Hall are one of the rudest teams I have dealt with. Firstly I booked my appointment 3 weeks ago and had reminders from the team around my vaccination today with no mention to me not being eligible. On arrival I was shouted at by the security lady on the door and told 'no no no you are not over 50'. This was the first time I had been told anything about this and why would the team not advise their patients if this is the case rather than letting them travel to the appointment on the day? After speaking to a team member behind the counter I was advised that Star Health are not giving out the AstraZeneca to anyone under 50 and was told to call the 'COVID Hotline' to book an appointment else where. When calling the 'COVID Hotline' I was advised that this site should be giving the injection to under 50's as per the new legislation from government. They advised me to tell the team to ring the CVOID hotline for clarity on this and that I am eligable. Clearly this site is not informed on the changes which is extremely worrying and makes sense to why we are so far behind with our vaccines. When going back into the building to ask the team again on this, I was shouted at by 2 team members that their CEO is not giving the go ahead for vaccines. Well why didn't you call me to advise then? In summary, waste of time, unprofessional & rude service all around. Would Not Recommend to anyone going for the vaccine.

Booked an appt today for my toddler for a covid test through the online appt at the Prahran respiratory clinic run by Star Health. Get there and it’s closed! The phones aren’t being picked up by anyone, just rings and says “a staff member will be with you shortly” for over 20 minutes. So disappointing, especially when I’m bringing my kid in! If you’re not open, don’t allow online bookings!

Absolutely horrific!
Because of neglect of Star Health two elderly people were waiting for 2 week for Coronovirus test results unable to be admitted to Respite care.
Numerous calls later they shamelessly lied that mobile number wasn't provided and leter meybe gone missing.
Only after direct call from manager of Age care we have been told that poor helpless seniors were negative.
. But they now need new test to be able to leave there prison appartment!
Test will be done by Star Health!
We hope result will come and hopefully earlier than two weeks!
Shame on you Star Health!

Because of him we got second taste result in 5 days! All it takes one good human!

Waiting for Covid test result, called and was told they had the negative result and that l should have been txt.
Was told they woukd txt shortly they didnt.
I get they are busy l also understand the govt pays $350,000 for the set up of service shame they can't get it right.

It’s a workplace which supports bullying and harassment of staff members. Management are unsupportive in staff development and often get staff to lie about their productivity. Please avoid

Called Star Health today and waited 10minutes on the phone with no answer. I dont think they are that busy so thatvthey couldnt answer the phone. Ifvthey are then they need more reception staff.

I tried calling the Prahan Star health for my kid andI have been told that they are not taking any new patient at this point in time. No alternate option or timeline is provided. Unfortunate!

Don't know what Lauren was whingeing about if she required "urgent pain relief". Has she heard of a hospital emergency department and Star Health's recorded message when you phone is that "if this is a medical emergency call 000"

Phoned up the Prahran location to book appointment, Jen who I spoke with over the phone was very abrupt and not willing to help one bit. She proceeded to explain that Starhealth Prahran doesn’t take on new patients for some reason and the next available appointment would be in 4 days.appalling service I will never phone up Starhealth again for this type of request.

Dental section.a lot to improve. 45 min. Appointment means 10 min, teeth cleaning about 4 min. What is that? 12 mths was waiting for? L have no words! Probably is good for old people and their dentures not for teeth treatment. You guys not listening what people asking for. Dentists having small wages? And refusing fixing teeth? Dont understand.wasnt worth to wait.
