Star Car Wash

Really helpful and amazing staff, I had lost my key the morning I was supposed to get my car washed, thankfully my car has phone and remote start.
When I got there I asked wether or not it would still be possible to wash my car if they could call me and use remote start to move the car, they told me it was absolutely fine which was an absolute life saver.

The wash was amazing, got into every nook and cranny I could find. Really great attention to detail.

Make sure you check all your small mats have be replaced. Missing my drink holder mats, also I didn't think I would have to check to see if the internal door handles were cleaned. I mean it was an internal clean!

Dropped off my car in the morning before work and wanted to pick up after 5pm was told to pick it up by 4pm as they want to close earlier. I asked for a normal wash (I think it’s $55) but the attendant was claiming I had a lot of dog hair in my car. I actually don’t have a dog and he didn’t believe me, said no I must have a white dog. I am blonde, and it was my hair (however I don’t she’d like a dog) so he was clearly out to upsell the service. Was scraping on the carpets and told me how dirty it is and it needs a premium wash for $95! I gave in because I was in a rush to get to work by that point. I returned at 4pm and my car wasn’t even washed by that point. Clearly they’ve been taking on and washing other cars before mine. I’ve waited another 30minutes for my car and I can tell you it’s definitely not worth $95. The tires weren’t clean, the passenger window wasn’t done and there were leaves left under the seats.
Would never go back!

Guy was polite. Car was washed. I just paid $225 for a fkn car wash. I THOUGT I was getting a car detail with wax. It was actually a wash with spray on rubbish afterwards.

Insane job guys, these guys did my BMW 330i 2005 which looks like a new car now. Absolutely wild, highly recommend

The staff were nice and parking was validated, up to 3hrs offered.

Albeit, it was odd to have to enter the parking garage to get the wash done in the first place, and it ended up taking a little over 3hrs, so we had to pay $3 parking.

I booked online the day before and paid for an interior detail. But in the end I wasn’t overly impressed with the job done. Bit too much fragrance, the interior detail left obvious parts dirty - I would say it wasn’t worth the extra cost.

So overall it was just okay, but wouldn’t recommend them or return.

They did a great job, my car was filthy and it felt so lovely and clean afterwards, and had a nice smell.
Also you don't have to pay for the parking if you go here. I didn't realise until after I'd already paid, but I'll definitely remember for next time!

Not Happy at all. Usually they charged 65 for my car, this time they said extra $30 is neededas it is dirty and there is dust on my car. Cant understand this as i used to take a more dirty car for wash.

It says it closes at 5pm but I have been refused service both times I have taken my car in the afternoon around 3pm.
Really bad customer service and very disappointing to bring my car in at 2: 30pm and be refused service for a 20min job.

Agree with JM! Had my car washed with a scourer yesterday at Star Wash south Yarra! I only noticed the scratches when putting on my car cover AFTER I made a complaint about the very pushy new manager and the poor 'clean' which I paid an extra $20 for. Have used this business for years and always had a great quality clean and friendly service from the previous manager! Terrible since they have re-opened. I'll be pursuing this further.

Didn't get my car washed some one gave them my phone number by mistake now I'm getting all these annoying text messages

I have to agree with another reviewer that this is one of the worst car washes in the area.

I purchased the PLATINUM service online and was charged extra for the exterior cleaning because the car has collected dust sitting in a garage during stage 4 lockdown. After the wash, I saw scratches and spots which I reported to the people in charge. Per their suggestion, I contacted the owner who refused to compensate under the claim that I had no proof that the scratches were there prior to the wash.

Personally, I regret taking my car to the Star car wash service at Vogue on Chapel St location.

Got my FJ Crusier full detailed and the services was exceptional and I would recommend the service to all my mates and family. The new management has been very professional and the customer service was soo good I felt they really cared for their customer.

I would definitely recommend this place and encourage everyone to come use there service as honestly during this period where small business are barely surviving specially Victoria need more businesses like Star Car Wash where customers are there primary focus and willing to go out of there comfort zone to care for the customer is what true victorians need.

New cut and polish addition to the service has truly given that extra Zing to the business also knowing the young kid who had extensive experience truly showed with the service I received.

Once Again thanks Star Car wash you truly made a very happy customer and a guaranteed retuning customer.

Asked for a platinum wash on my GLA and they wanted to charge me the price of a 6 seater! Obviously i objected and the attendant reverted to sedan pricing. They clearly didn't vacuum the boot at all. Don't expect platinum service if you are using a discount voucher that's for sure.

This is one of the worst car washes in the area. Customer service is not bad but the quality of the cleaning is a joke. I asked to have my interior only cleaned today as I was in a hurry. I returned 45min later and loooked inside the car which i asummed had not been competed yet. The interior had a quick vac and nothing else, no windows, dash, leather seats etc etc. The young teenager then tried to charge me $45 for it.

Uslesss is the only word to dricribe it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Best carwash and best service - the kind gentleman assisted me in wrangling my children and unpacked my groceries into the car today. They went above and beyond! I won't go anywhere else to get my car washed ever again! Thank you!
