Stamford Park Homestead

My husband and I had dinner here 3 years ago (in between lockdowns).
The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious. We look forward to returning when it reopens.

How can people share a review when Stamford Park Homestead will not open to honour their vouchers. To say they cannot get staff is a cop out. Their is nothing stopping them refunding all vouchers until such times as they can get staff and then open.
I only wish I could fill in the questions below but for obvious reasons I can't.

It was a very pleasant visit for dinner. Ordered the snapper special for mains, pork croquettes for starters and chocolate parfait for dessert. All were very good. Service was excellent. Well done!

Beautiful site with great formal indoor and informal (and dog friendly) outdoor seating options. Staff are super friendly and food was great

We had a quiet, relaxing and enjoyable family lunch. Fantastic service, great food, very pleasant atmosphere and a place to recommend.

Beautiful brunch. I had the homestead brekkie with sourdough, poached eggs, relish, bacon, sausage, mushrooms and haloumi and everything has great! Also ordered a latte which was smooth and mild and really nice to drink. Would definitely recommend. Such a nice little spot in an area you really wouldn't expect to find it in!

I’ve waited for two hours for the food to come up, and the food aren’t even that good, I don’t think the food worth the price, very disappointing.funny thing is there is clearly empty spot inside the restaurant, but I guess I just look too poor to sit inside?

The food and surroundings are great but the service is really hit and miss. Some of the wait staff were absolutely wonderful but our overall experience was spoiled by a couple of exceptionally rude wait people. I've never experienced such rudeness before when dining out. I'd been here before and had a wonderful experience so talked it up to friends and brought them here. I ended up feeling quite embarrassed to have recommended it with the rudeness we encountered. It's such a shame because everything else was great.

Lovely setting. Great food and service. We had the private dining room and they were very accommodating to dietary requirements.

Beautiful wine selection as well.

This was a lovely place for six of us to celebrate our lockdown 60th birthdays with a 360th birthday High Tea.

So glad a friend recommended this beautiful restaurant. From the minute we walked in the service was exceptional, our waitress was very attentive and happy to answer our questions regarding the menu, food and presentation an absolute credit to chef and the team, simply stunning and fine dining at its very best.

Very disappointed all we wanted was coffee and scones. No service. All self serve and use QR code’s to order so when we were happy to settle with just coffee to save time. No go.

If you have an event please staff it appropriately or close off areas. 45 minutes for a coffee is like waiting for the beans to grow.

Also other have been editing for 2 1/2 hrs for dessert and drinks. Customer service is non existent here!

Great atmosphere and decor. Expected a little more food for the high tea. Otherwise a beautiful place for any occasion!

Stop by today with my best friend, the food was delicious, the location is stunning a little piece of heaven right outside our door, I’m so happy my friend found the Homestead.

What a beautiful experience! Went here for a work function and the staff were so kind and efficient.

The food was impeccable. I had the pork as entree and I don't think I've ever had pork that was both soft and juicy. It had some crunch on the edges too but not as firm to crack your teeth. It had a beautiful slightly sweet sauce which was not expected but worked perfectly.

For mains I had the gnocchi. Some unexpected nutty flavour in there but it was a flurry of complimenting flavours. Perfect amount of parmesan as well!

The chocolate torte was my choice for dessert and it was so rich! The dessert had what appeared to be a peanut based ice-cream filling between a rich dark chocolate mix and coated with dark chocolate powder. Some crushed sugar-roasted peanuts tied it all together and sealed the deal.

Beautiful presentation of both food and space and you know the vegetables are fresh with a veggie garden you can walk through freely.

Very happy with the service.

Beautiful place, terrible customer service. I called & asked for takeaway scones as my mother is going through chemo & can’t risk eating in atm, however we used to be a regular customer & miss their scones. They said they can do takeaway coffee but not scones. 2 staff and manager confirmed this was too hard to organise.

We decided to visit Stamford Park on Sunday afternoon after a recommendation from friends. We drive 1/2 hour to get there to be told we could not have a coffee in their cafe unless we had lunch! Very disappointed, we won’t be back.

Food was amazing and staff where very professional and attentive, never had an empty glass. Beautiful atmosphere as well. Well done.
