Stage School Australia Hawthorn

Our daughter commenced training with Stage School Australia in 2009, at the age of six, spending time in both the Young Australia Broadway Chorus (YABC) and Australian Youth Theatre (AYT). Fast forward to 2022, and she has just concluded her third year (give or take a few co-vid disruptions!) as a Triple Threat, and now works for the company as both a teacher and in administration. Her thirteen years at Stage School Australia have been a joy. The discipline she has developed through her training and the friendships she has formed will hold her in good stead for the rest of her life. Best decision our family has ever made!

The team at Stage School, offer such a great environment for their students to perform to the highest level. The teachers are all very encouraging, and highly qualified to develop everyone to reach their greatest heights. The students all have great fun and the performances are just amazing! Well done to all the team at Stage School!

We have been part of the Stage School family for 8 years. Well run weekly program, professional teaching team, exceptional shows. Stage school offers our child a broad base exposure to musical theatre suited to the level of skill whilst encouraging all young people to stretch themselves.

My daughter loves her time here every week and always looks forward to her various classes and workshops. Staff are very professional in all aspects. They are well organised, have great communication skills and are respectful to all, we could not be happier with the company.

My son has been attending Stage School Australia's YABC classes for 18 months and absolutely loves it. The mid year and end of year performances continually blow us away with their high production standards, they are the highlight of our year. The organisation as a whole is professionally managed, staff are lovely to deal with and communications regular and thorough. I would recommend Stage School's YABC classes to any child with an interest in music/dance/drama - you will not be disappointed.

Stage school has been a massive part of my life and I have made many memories with my classmates, some of who I consider life long best freinds

YABC is a wonderful safe forum for our daughter to explore her creative side She has loved her journey thus far and is excited to continue.
Teachers have been excellent and more than flexible to accommodate outside commitments. Would definitely recommend.

Professionally run, fantastic and experienced teachers. Concerts are an excellent standard. And the children have so much fun!

My daughter started at Beginners on Stage and is now in Senior Troupe. She loves YABC, and we get thrilled semester after semester on her personal musical theatre development and the general level of the students and the shows. We look forward to many years to come enjoying together the passion of talented teachers coaching and students performing beat their best!

The journey with this fantastic company has been memorable and one that still continues. The support and dedication from the wonderful staff has ensured my son has grown and received opportunities never imagined.

My daughter loves being part of Stage School Australia and the VYT program. She loves performing in the shows and participating in the weekly classes. She has gained some nice friendships and it has certainly paid dividends in building her confidence and performance skills.
As a Mum whose daughter has attended several performing arts schools over the years I have never been involved with a school that is so customer focused with parents, whenever you call they are always helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They are the most organised school I have been involved with and require no additional time or effort from parents to get their shows on. I love that when it comes to show time I don't need to worry about costumes or spending time back stage, I can sit back and just enjoy seeing her perform. I also love that whether it is weekly classes, workshops or show rehearsals Stage School Australia always run on time. You are notified of all commitments at the beginning of the semester, there are no last minute additional rehearsals or late finishes. They are super organised and super professional.

The most professional and well organised place I've come across for our kids. They also love it and the annual performances are super professional.

Impressively well run school. Kids enjoy and gain confidence from the classes and are well supported and encouraged to perform. End of semester performances are of a high quality and are enjoyed by both students and friends and family.

Being part of YABC has been a fantastic experience for our family. My daughters confidence and performance skills have flourished through the program. The shows are excellent and she has made great friends.

My daughter has just started her fourth year at Stage School Australia and just loves it. She does singing, dancing, acting and tap dancing classes and I can see a great improvement in her abilities since she started. She receives great enjoyment in performing in the mid and end of year performances. I can’t recommend Stage School Australia enough.

I have been with the Victorian Youth Theatre and the Young Australian Broadway Chorus for a year now and I am now in Senior Actors Ensemble and Senior Troupe and I confidently say that they are the most amazing companies to be apart of. There is no pressure to continue moving toward the higher levels of performing, however the teachers here are always looking for different ways to help you improve. VYT and YABC are incredibly professional environments and the mid and end of year shows are spectacular to be apart of. VYT and YABC has boosted my confidence so much over the past year with encouragment from staff and friendships with fellow castmates that will last a life time. Regardless of whether or not you enjoy performing VYT and YABC are amazing companies that are perfect each and every person who has a passion for the performing arts or just wants to meet new people and try something new!

I have had such a great time over my years at YABC from inter chorus to senior company. Why wouldn’t you want to thrive.

Rude and cold staff, not nice to kids at all. Do not take your kids to them!

You were doing the right procedure but in a rude way. I don't believe put a large uncovered and used rubbish bin in front of a little child without caring his feeling is your priority of safety.

You fail to provide due care and skill to this 5 yo innocent child. The child is still feeling upset until today.

No wonder why you do not care children!
