St Vincent's Private Hospital, Melbourne (Kew)

Recently had surgery and spent the night. Thanks to all the caring nurses, Kara, Sam and Emma. They truly care for what they do and it's a reflection on the hospital.

Horrible! Meant to be a private hospital rooms are are same as a public hospital food is even worse don’t recommend

I have to thank the staff and nurses who took care of me during my stay. You all have beautiful hearts filled with kindness and support for the people in your care.

A wonderful experience from being greeted by Jill on reception and the superb care by all staff members, their care, friendliness and happy work environment was outstanding

Attended for day surgery. Free parking which was great. Right from entry staff were excellent. Friendly courteous and professional explaining every procedure. Egg sandwich was very ordinary and I've had much better sandwiches in public hospitals however apart from this couldn't fault anything. I would be more than happy to reattend this hospital if I had to.

Recently had foot surgery and overnight stay. I could not fault the nurses and staff. All so helpful, responsive and caring. The food was great. Order by phone and it arrives in 45 mins which is appreciated.
My only suggestion is to get some TVs in the waiting area for surgery.

Thank you for taking such great care of me during my overnight stay. Every member of staff were so kind and caring and very prompt when I'd call for assistance. My room was very clean and comfortable and the food was lovely.

Went in for day surgery for a broken finger. Hospital staff were excellent the whole way through, from beginning to end. Friendly, easy and fast check-in, then the nurses took great care of me on admission. Doctor James Thomas (hand surgeon) was excellent, professional, caring, kind and thorough. His team were amazing too. Everything was explained to me. I felt so well looked, it was a great experience. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone requiring an operation/procedure. A big and heartfelt thankyou to all the staff at the hospital.

The staff, doctors and nurses were very good and caring. Very professional, taking care of cultural needs. Had a very good experience. The food was splendid as well Thanks to everyone who works there.

Just day surgery, and short-term stay.

I had a total knee replacement on 17/5/22 and I wanted to send a special thanks to the nurses Cheryl, Jasmine, Denise and Kate for the fantastic job they do. Great facilities (including the food!).

I had my Knee surgery done at this hospital, the people in the hospital are very friendly. They had strict covid rules to follow. The food they provide could be much better for the hefty money they charge.

I had my ACL surgery on the 25/2 and I want to say a massive thanks to all the hard working nurses. Denise, Jasmine, Cath and all the nurses names I couldn't remember. Thank you for taking such good care of me. The catering staff (middle aged lady with blondish hair and flowery shirt) was quite rude and seemed to hate her job. Other than that. No other complaints.

I very recently had ankle surgery as a day procedure. I have had a number of hospital admissions over the past 18 months and I was very impressed with this experience, from the initial contact (Covid-19 screening) then
reception/ admin and nursing staff, who were all very friendly, caring and professional

I had an overnight stay last week and I couldn’t praise this hospital enough. The staff were wonderful very caring and they couldn’t do enough.

Really caring and friendly staff, very clean environment.felt really cared for and would go back without hesitation.

In for overnight stay. Could not rate highly enough. Staff excellent, food great, care excellent.

My partner was called in for day surgery at noon, he waited over 4 hours before even being seen. It's the middle of lockdown and this is outside of our 5km limit, nothing in the area is open, I can't wait inside, and it's winter! So I have to sit in my cold car for 7+ hours as I can't keep driving back and forth across the city.
If you're running behind, just call and say so instead of wasting our time.

As a former nurse here I can safely say this establishment is the worst of the worst, overworked and underpaid nurses, management corner cutting to avoid spending more money. I would trust the public system any day before I’d ever be treated here as a patient. And to work here, I’d rather any alternative. Don’t risk your health with this terrible place
