Our 5th year at St Thomas More PS and we couldn’t be more happier. The elevation of the school makes for a beautiful backdrop bringing nature and the ocean together. Excellent school grounds throughout for lots of exploring and fun activities and an oval with a city view. How good is that.
A strong community connection and a welcoming neighbourhood for all new families. It makes you feel like you’ve been apart of the school forever. A buddy family program for all new families to help them navigate their first year at the school and there’s even a mum and bubs playgroup organised by parents. A lot of thought goes behind the scenes to help prosper and grow the school into the future. It makes you proud to be apart of a dedicated community.
Gorgeous teaching staff that not only focus on confident learning but nurture growth in positive attitudes, resilience, empathy and a strong wellbeing program.
Fabulous arts and music programs along with sports and outdoor learning provide something for each child.
My daughter is thriving and enjoying her experience this far and always comes home happy and content.

A beautiful school that places high value on community as well as helping children to become the best version of themselves. I couldn't be happier with the experience and education my children are getting at STM.

We recently moved into the area that our children's mother grew up in and looked at a range of schools both government and Catholic for the education of our older child who commenced 'prep' this year and younger sibling who will follow in 2025.
Based on our interviews and tours, St Thomas More was and remains an excellent choice.
Our first child is happy and wants to go to school everyday. That is our number 1 priority. The school has excellent leadership and their classroom is blessed with an excellent teacher - a number #1 draft pick in any of the schools, which were P-12, that I have taught in previously - amongst many fine staff.
No school is perfect, however, St Thomas More has been proactive in communicating with us as parents on any matter which involves our child.
Having taught in several high-performing schools in Victoria and interstate, I would compare St Thomas More favourably with any of my previous schools.
I recently attended a function for the three youngest years of the school and saw a very professionally conducted occasion which was most enjoyable for the children from 'prep' to Year 2 and a large contingent of parents gathered for the event. To a new parent it looked to be a very happy and engaged community.
I am happy to recommend St Thomas More to any parent looking for a school for their child/ children in 2023 or beyond.

We feel very lucky to have found St Thomas More School.
A friendly and inclusive community, with wonderful teachers and staff.
The school has such a lovely setting, with lots of beautiful trees and spaces for the kids to run and explore.
There are great opportunities for the kids for sport, music and arts.
We are also really impressed with the Woodlands kinder which is on the school grounds and has hours that work well with the school start and finish times.
Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful nurturing school full of so much love, my kids are absolutely thriving here. The teachers, principle, and reception staff are all the most kind and loving people you will ever meet.

Students I've met really seem to have fallen behind on the curriculum, teachers not performing adequately to ensure they are brought up to speed. Would highly recommend investing your time and money in another school.

This school goes to way to much effort to make life unplesent for you so im going to go to the effort to write a review why you should not send your kids here to this school they go out of there way to spend there own time writeing email to parents and making phone calls to parents to say your kid has done 1 thing wrong so we punished them by making there hole day at school bad and treet them like there a dummy to let out your rage on.dont forget the nasty the kids in at this school and how the can be to you.my class had a class meeting on how they should punish me and my friend in class for mucking up it went for a hole hour. Im rating this school 1 star onlybecause the road crossing person is so nice to me.
