St Paul's Cathedral, Melbourne reviews
27 What a glorious church. A great weddimg service. Very impressed.
Parking of course at a premium in busy Melbourne.
This is my favourite church to visit. I always find peace sitting in it admiring the magnificent architecture of it.
St Paul’s Cathedral is an Anglican Church ️ in the heart of city of Melbourne opposite the iconic Flinders Street station. It was built from 1880 to 1891 and the spires added later in 1926. It’s beautiful inside and worth a look if you are in Melbourne CBD.
The enter price for photographer is depends on how big of your camera & lens. I ask my mom take my sony A9 and change the small len of 55mm 1.8.
Wonderful oasis in the heart of Melbourne. Beautiful building inside and out. Love the Minton tiles and Spode plates and more importantly the emphasis on reconciliation.
Absolutely beautiful, architecture was extraordinary and is an incredible place for worship. Careful however, there is a price to pay if you want to take photos.
Beautiful historical landmark building in the heart of Melbourne. The voices of the choirs resonate beautifully in the rafters!
For tourist who plans to book a tour in melbourne better get acquainted with this place.most of them set this as meeting point.easy to find just across flinder street station
This is one beautiful church. Very calming and a surreal place to have a quiet prayer or two. Their evening choral sessions are beautiful too. The interior is so picturesque. Make sure you get approval to take pictures inside and remember to light candle or pray for three wishes if visiting for the first time:)
A tourist attraction. Calm place to visit. Just opposite to Flinder's street station and Fed Square.
Impressive building, feels very european and the spiresare imposing. Have to pay to enter/take photos hence the 4 stars, such is a shame as it almost gives the impression not everyone is welcome to enjoy the cathedral. CBD location near Flinders station makes it easy get to and locate. Has information about the building on signs outside.
Although there is no charges for the entry, but you will need to pay $5 if u thinking of taking photo in the cathedral.
A very beautiful church in CBD Melbourne. This is such a beautiful and magnificent Anglican church. The things that wow me is that the church built hundreds years ago. That's such an advanced technology at that time. Wonderful!
Beautiful space. But there were giant "offering" stations everywhere - stark contrast of 'tap to donate facilities' vs old beautiful heritage building.
Nhà thờ St Paul's Cathedral, gần Nhà ga Flinders Street Railway Station và Quảng trường Federation Square, tại TP. Melbourne, thuộc bang Victoria của nước Úc.
Wonderful Cathedral to attend service with family & friends. They serve coffee after Sunday morning services. The people are so welcoming. A must go place in Melbourne.
A must visit iconic destination. The design and architectural is totally on another level. Great to be here.
A Melbourne landmark diagonally opposite the Flinders Street station and across the road from the ACMI and federation Square. It is a cathedral as the name says. But it is a pale comparison to the cathedrals found in Europe.if you have seen the European cathedrals, this will be a disappointment but if you have never seen one before, this could be an introduction. I am not an architectural student but I think it is a gothic style.
VERY IMPOSING CATHEDRAL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY
In its day it would have been one of the tallest landmarks on the skyline - still a beautiful building but is very much hemmed in by the all the more contemporary tall buildings. Some seats on the street if you need to take a rest from the rush along Swanston Street.
