St Kilda Skate Park reviews
16 This is a great park, one of, if not, the best!
Oh my grandson just loves this place and screams when it's time to go. He was a little shy at first and just stood back watching the big kids having fun but then, with helmet and pads on, nothing would stop him from mixing it and hitting the bowls.
It's a great skatepark with a number of transitions for all skill levels from beginners to the more experienced, and both young and old. But it can get pretty busy on nice days. Fortunately, there's a webcam installed at the Marina Reserve Skate Space so best to check the weather and then see how busy it is to decide on the best time to head on over for a skate.
There's also a small playground and free electrical BBQs, picnic tables and toilets but no nearby shops or supermarket so as well as your gear, best to take some drink and snacks with you.
It's at 29P Marine Parade, St Kilda so therefore it's close to Luna Park.
Great skatepark, very good job on the concreting for skating and not too busy (cold weather). Great for all skill levels with a variety of curves and jumps

Great skatepark for the space. Decent street section for beginners/intermediate riders and a large bowl with pool coping for experienced users. Can feel busy with only 20 odd people though. Toilets are nearby and Acland street is only 10 mins walk for a coffee/icecream. Parking can also be expensive ($15 for 3 hours or $16 all day).
One of the best skateparks in melbs. Smooth mellow transitions, great view of the beach, chill regulars. Big recc.
Cruise carve create some tricks at the best skate park in Melbourne, gets super busy so take a chill pill and enjoy the friendly vibe.
Great skate park with good pump action and loads of quarters with coping and bench edges.
No shade, and very minimal seating for spectators.
Hi, no pics of this one today as 90% of people on wheels in the bowl were young children (pic is of Street Art on an alley wall close by). Thumbs up to the 10% of older SK8Rs for adding a low height practice 'grind' station at entry to the bowls (using packing pallets) + inspiring/educating the next gen. BMX, scooter, roller & inline skaters all had an area to play collaboratively together today.
This park is exceptionally well maintained and cleaned for sporting in safety by Port Phillip Council.
Bonus: beautiful walking and bike tracks around this & a shallow water beach play area adjoining.
A variety of flat banks and quarter pipes with coping make this a fun spot for a while although the concrete surface is a little rough. The nearby concrete bmx course is fun too.
Great to chill here and watch the skaters go! There is a CCTV camera here which you can watch via their website as well
Well designed. Can get quite busy.
Everyone seemed to respect one another without issue.
Very smooth surface. Gets a bit of getting used to after being on the rough paths closer to Luna Park.
Good place.
Great skatepark, was my local for years, great crew great vibes, welcoming place, needs street section tho @portphillipcouncil
Best skatepark in town. Popular with expert skaters, scooters and bmx-ers. Would be even better if it had a nearby rain shelter, clean public toilets and a regular cafe.
Really Cool place for all adults and all skill sets! You'd walk past it if you dident know it was there!
Very popular for experienced and novice skateboard riders alike. Arrive early to avoid congestion.
Smooth.tiny bowl with vert is fun. Huge deep bowl too. Mellow bowl too for tech stuff. Not really street but I guess that was the objective.
