The plebotomist here, I believe his name was "lanse" or something similar was best experience of blood withdrawal I've had, I got no issues with needles but felt nothing, lovely mannerisms and technique. Wish they were all like him

I'm really happy with this practice, my GP is thorough & listens. Great location in the heart of St Kilda on Grey Street.
Big shout out to Annette who offers a flawless blood draw!

Great doctors, extremely rude receptionists with a serious attitude problem. The young one is lovely, it seems the senior ones hate their job and people. Plenty of young, polite skilled people out there who could do their job better and faster. Perhaps management should take this into account, that’s if they aren’t too bored with how much money they make.please don’t bother with a standard reply.there’s many other comments mentioning your rude receptionists!

The doctors here are great. My 1 star review is for the receptionist, Julie, who is the most miserable woman I have ever spoken to in my life. Julie, if you don’t like your job, quit! Your tone and misery bring down everyone you encounter. Like the other reviewer, we dread calling in because we might encounter Julie.

I have been attending this clinic since 2006. I have only experienced a deep sense of commitment by each doctor I’ve seen. You never feel rushed, they are empathetic, open minded, knowledgeable & compassionate. I would hate to have to move clinics because I have 100% trust & respect for the doctors here.

(Using an alias - I see Dr Belinda Goad). The service, professionalism and experience of the doctors at St Kilda Medical Group, the one that I see anyway, is wonderful. However, the receptionists on the other hand and the overall organisation of the clinic is dismal. Throughout my patronage of this clinic, the receptionist has gotten my phone number wrong resulting in a plethora of issues, failed to send my referral to the blood collection resulting in me waiting for forty minutes trying to get on hold to the clinic and failing, then waiting for the receptionist to email the referral on the spot (in which they got the email wrong). Every time I have phoned the clinic I have received brusque and plain rude treatment from the receptionists and instructions to ring the lab directly, often in contrary to the advice from my doctor. This is specifically regarding the older receptionist (s), the younger one is lovely. Furthermore, whilst on hold I was privy to her ‘gossip’ about other patients and it wasn’t pretty.

All of the staff at this clinic have been amazing! I have never had a GP care as much as Dr. Cheung. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful! The phlebotomist got a vein first go everytime! Everyone has been so professional and caring!

I am a medical professional who attended this clinic for a period of 5 years or so. I saw a number of different doctors over that time. Everyone I saw, including the practice nurse, was professional, empathetic and displayed actual commitment to medical excellence and real-world problem solving.

As more clinics adopt a corporatised 'business-first' culture, a clinic like St Kilda Medical Group, which feels as if it is staffed by people who care about and like their jobs, is getting harder and harder to find.

Highly recommend to anyone in the St Kilda area seeking good, reliable GP care.

I have been attending this clinic for about two years and the doctor that I usually see has verbally said to me that she refuses to treat me for some of my symptoms and to another doctor I always have to repeat the symptoms.
It doesn't loik as if I am getting anywhere with this clinic.

Dr Jonathan Epstein has been an absolute saviour to my family over the last year. He is amazing! Thorough, lovely, understanding and genuinely cares. I’ve had a rough year and this particular doctor has always had time for me. Doctors are so busy these days so often it is hard to find a really good one with all these qualities. I have now moved however will travel the half hour to continue to see him. Hard to get an appointment with.but I totally get why that’s the case!

This clinic is so "hit and miss" with the doctors. I should point out that I have been to see Maddie and Jonathan in the past and had a good experience with both of them, but it was my experience with Natasha yesterday that has pushed me to write this poor review. I took my special needs daughter to see her at the last minute with a suspected UTI flare-up, because I couldn't get into see our regular GP. I found her to be so quick to judge and criticise my choices as a mother, despite not knowing our medical history or the anxiety that comes with a special needs diagnosis and all the subsequent medical follow-up. This is the worst kind of mum-shaming and I wouldn't have expected it from a female doctor.

My wife, cut her hand badly this afternoon. She went around to the Clinic where she was treated promptly and with great care. Doctors and a nurse. The nurse gave her further advice when she left. Very impressed.

Staff here weren't just unhelpful-they wer lazy & incompetant! No good @ all as they didn't care about me the patient they're meant to be there to provide reasonable service but as most/all medical services I'vee been to throughout the country they don't! They're a rort on the medicare system as I din't get what I need. So much for a democracy when they treat the patients as if they're"naughty children" & you may as well be talking to"a brick wall" when you know exactly what you're asking for but get nothing but treated badly in the process! Don't waste your time going there!

Friendly, helpful, Dr Greg even phoned me pathology results that other GPs would have forced an appointment to get. My new clinic. & the phlebotomist was brilliant.

I've been attending this clinic for a few years. However due to the very rude attitude of a receptionist when I called to say I was charged twice for getting the same visit.awful they are obviously so busy they afford to be as rude as they like as it's not the first time i've noticed that! Doctors have always been nice though? !

Very happy with the doctors I have seen here. Receptionists are always busy but friendly. Doctors treat you with respect, listen to your concerns, they don't rush you or talk to you like a child.

I have been a patient of this clinic for 2 years and am a huge fan of the doctors (Dr Harris in particular). Also I have always felt welcomed by the receptionist staff.

I really do feel for Di Lavelle for having to see an "outrageously GAY doctor" who "struts around like a queen". Surely in this day and age she should of been provided with a heterosexual doctor (and hopefully cured of her blatant homophobia).

I have been a rather frequent patient at the clinic for more than 10 years now. From turbulent health problems to simple check ups, I have found the personnel of the St Kilda Medical Group at Grey Street most helpful, effective and extremely polite. The doctors (*) (Dr Kuriata and Dr Harris) have been of great help to me, and assisted me throughout the years. The most welcoming receptionists have also been of great help, telephoning me at home to confirm my appointments and making all related information available to me.
I would recommend the service to anyone in need of medical help!
You will be looked after in the best possible way.
Cheers and good luck!
Elliott Renzies, St Kilda
(*) at the very beginning of my visiting the Group I was looked after by a young lady Doctor, I think it was Dr Gold, but I can't recall exactly. She treated a rather serious infection in no time! E. R.
