The first time we visited the 11am service we were invited to lunch and invited to join a Bible study group. Our experience of the 9am and 11am services has been that they are welcoming and the Cafe @ 10 time is a really good opportunity to chat to members of the community.

This is one of the biggest evangelical Anglican churches in Melbourne. Great youth and children's programs. Variety of worship styles. Strong biblical teaching.

We attended the 9am service at St Hilary's Kew on Sunday September 30,2018. This was our first time to the church having got to know a few of the members during a tour of Israel during December 2017. This made our first visit a lot easier as we were able to reconnect with some of our fellow travellers.

Regarding the service, the Lead Minister, Stephen Hale, preached his final sermon in a series on Daniel. He is an articulate communicator and expositor of God's word, as well as Western culture. We really enjoyed his message both for its biblical content and its personal application.

The space itself is warm, light and inviting with comfortable chairs and a beautiful mix of the old and the contemporary. There were quite a few young families as well as a number of older couples. The music and sound mixing was some of the best we have experienced. Not too loud so that we couldn't hear ourselves sing and not too soft that we were reluctant to sing. The team led with a wonderful sensitivity, one in which we felt truly honoured God.

Overall, we really enjoyed our time there and hope to visit again soon.
