St Columba's College reviews
7I came to this school thinking it was a new place to succeed and make new friends but no, this school only cares about the looks of a student’s uniform as well as their well-being. A teacher is at the gate in the morning as well as after school, not to say good morning or wish a student a good afternoon but to criticise the way the uniform Is being worn. Why should we have to get a ‘restorative workshop’ just because the school isn’t happy with the way we represent our school? This school has made me suffer anxiety as well as depression and bullying. This school has done nothing for me. My parents love hearing about my day after school but all they wanna do now is shut me up because they are sick and tired of my complaints about how this school doesn’t teach me anything. Unless you count being educated on the 90+ genders and why we should celebrate them for a whole month (which keep in mind is well against the CATHOLIC religion) or why I am not able to wear a cross which represents JESUS. As you can see this school will not benefit your child in their learning it’ll only make them believe the wrong things in life then this is the school for them xoxo
Thank you to St Columba's College Essendon for having us recently to deliver the jam packed Advanced Driver course to 27 year 11 and 12 female participants!
We had a great response from the participants, with lots of questioning and interaction. The teachers and facilities were fantastic.
The Advanced Driver course has been developed to create safer people, aligning with the Victorian Governments Road Safety Strategy. This course gives everyone a deeper understanding of driving a vehicle in general, and in and around Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
We hope to deliver this course again with St Columba's College.
If I could rate this school anything under a 1 I think it would have to be in the negatives. I am currently in year 10 at this school and I have learned nothing but that I have mental problems and suffer from extreme anxiety. This school has made it very clear to me that I have those things. All I want to do is make my father proud but the only thing I am doing is making my father want to shut me up every minute I talk about how terrible the school is. The teachers set meetings in place for you to find out better ways to learn and enjoy coming to school, I have had about 3 meetings this year and not one thing that was said in any of them has been done.
So if you want to give your daughter anxiety and depression this is your one stop shop.
Biggest mistake i made was sending my daughter here for the first 2 years of high school. Its a Catholic school focused on image and sweeping things under the carpet with no care for the girls wellbeing.
Very bad school. They don't care about the students needs and the teachers there are very racist. They always have a teacher at the front gate seeing if students have their blazers on and if you don't you get a detention. Needs to but shut down or sum RQ. I would give it a 0.
