St Andrews Conservatory

We hosted our wedding anniversary here in December 2023 and could not recommend the venue and team highly enough.

The venue is beautiful and offers complete flexibility to set up in a way that suits our aesthetic and the vibe we want for the night.

The location is central and easy for guests to travel to from various parts of Melbourne. This was important to us because we had loved ones from all parts attending, and we wanted to make sure the commute wasn't too long.

The menu offers great variety, and all dietaries are catered for with delicious meals. We opted for a cocktail style event so that guests could move around and mingle freely. Our biggest concern was guests not getting enough food but all our guests commented on how much food there was and how full they were.

The team at St Andrew's is just phenomenal. Susan was so easy to work with through the entire booking and planning process and Jasmin was so helpful and lovely on the day and the days leading up. Between Jasmin and Jay they made sure everything was set up the way we requested and ran smoothly on the night. Every single team member we interacted with was exceptional. Thank you for making our celebration everything we hoped for.

Had our wedding here, staff were amazing and accommodated to all of our requests. Nice, intimate venue. We had 103 guests and the size of the venue was perfect. Food from all accounts was lovely and the staff were always about and asking if we wanted more drinks. Definitely worth a look if you are looking at having a wedding in the future.

I had booked this venue for my birthday/baby shower. The venue firstly is stunning. They have such a beautiful set up. The communication with Susan was so great though emails. She always responded in timely manner. Was really friendly and helpful at answering any questions I needed. Even Kiara was great when we met up before the event and during the event. She was very helpful at helping staff and asking if everything was ok and if I needed help. The food was absolutely delicious, high quality food and all three courses of the dishes. They have great options available for food. It's a great space available at the venue. I highly recommend it. This week I went to the pub at the front and the food is the same great quality as the restaurant. Definitely worth booking the venue or going in for a feed.

Delicious food and excellent service. Great place for group booking and especially good for wheelchair accessibility. Have been here several times now and always been a positive experience. Certain menu items can be a bit pricey but the ‘pub fare’ is good value. Can never go wrong with their sizeable and very tasty parma!

We have been wanting to host an event at St Andrews Conservatory for a long time. We recently took the opportunity to have our son’s Baptism celebration there and I am so glad we did! From the beautiful space to amazing food and service, our guests were left speechless! We highly recommend the venue for any celebration. We hosted a lunch for our local sporting club recently and it was an excellent event. Food was great, drinks service was excellent and it worked well for our group of approx 80. Would highly recommend.

Loved this venue. My daughters wedding was held here. The staff were amazing even through troubled times they always showed understanding and compassion. The food is amazing and the service second to none! Only feedback is they need a dedicated mothers & babies room for breastfeeding mothers. Not nice to feed your baby sitting next to a toilet.

Amazing function venue! Highly recommended. I recently had my sons christening at St. Andrews and they exceeded my expectations. From the moment we contacted the team, to our planning meeting and event itself, everything was flawless.

The food was fantastic, great portion sizes and menu options. We loved the fact our guests were able to select their own entrees and mains (much better then alternating dishes). The drinks were also great, highly recommend their cocktails.

The room itself is stunning with gorgeous natural light and roof decor. It was the perfect space to host 100 guests for a sit down lunch. The service was impeccable from all of the staff on the day and the event coordinators. Particular shout out to Kiara who went above and beyond to make our day special.

We received so much positive feedback from our guests who were blown away by the venue and overall experience. I will definitely have events here in the future. Thanks again to the fantastic team at St. Andrews!

No hesitation in recommending St Andrew’s for your wedding. It starts with Susan who helped my wife Eva with every last wish she had. My whole entire family of 100 told me how much of a good time they had. The food was great the staff bent backwards for everyone. Well done to the staff, Eva and I just partied and had fun while Ciara took care of everything. Thanks Ciara you made our night great.

We can not recommend St Andrews Conservatory more highly! It was impeccable! We hosted out daughters first birthday and baptism there with absolute delight! We had 105 adults and 35 children for a cocktail event.
The team are efficient and helpful, no request was too much!
Every single direction we requested was executed to the exact detail.
The packages were generous and more than enough. Drinks were great, food was great. The venue was extremely well presented, prepared and hygienic, especially the rest rooms.
The staff served the guests throughout the entire five hour event and kept the venue clean throughout even with over 35 kids making mini messes around the place.
We thank them so much and will absolutely host our next child’s event there.

The food was amazing and of high quality. The portions were generous.
The staff were accommodating to all of my needs and they were very friendly. The staff were also very accommodating to all the pre-schoolers running around so thank you so much for that too.

From function coordinator, Susan, who made everything so effortless - timely communication, flexibility with late changes, insightful suggestions to ensure our Christmas lunch ran smoothly, right through to function staff on the day - so attentive, discreet, efficient, friendly. The moment I saw their website I knew I had to take a look, from the moment I walked in and met Kiara I knew I had to book. 5 stars isnt enough, if I could give them 10 I would. From the venue styling to the all inclusive per head packages they have really nailed it. The friendly and very knowledgable staff made the entire process easy and the night was beautiful. All our guests raved about the food and the wine options are were suberb. If you are looking for a less typical wedding reception venue in the city that wont cost you an arm and a leg, who offers non alternating dishes that guests get to choose what they want to eat and an extensive drinks list (no choosing 1, red, 1 white etc here!) with beautiful and attentive staff, I highlighy recommend you check them out.
